Addendum...

"isclosed.png" is a big honkin' black image. My guess, and this is pure speculation, is that the Javascript - once the password is guessed and entered correctly - will change the image source through Javascript to something meaningful.

Yeah, it's tagged with the id "door".
I think the welcome page had the same thing, though. That entire page is now changed to redirect to /one on a click.

Maybe the star polygon has a specific name or association. But I think this may just be the button on every one of those pages.

My best guess is that you check the haunted house page. This might be a clue hunt restricted to that site. If you navigate to "ghosts" on there, you see a room with doors labelled 2, 3, 12, 13 and - which is quite odd - 14. However, the image for a potential door 1 does not exist.

The star is associated with the Egyptian god Osiris but that didn't work

The mathematical name for the star is a Hexakaidecagram and that's not the password either Sad

I'm probably getting a bit ahead of the game, but the images for numbers "one" through "thirteen" can be viewed, for example www.findthedoor.ueuo.com/two.png leads to a picture of the number 2, which will probably be used on the page for door #2.

As for the password, I saw something about the compass rose having 16 points, but "compassrose" wasn't the pw.

Not "north" either (the direction the label would be if the star was a compass).

Quick google for "I am the wanderer of worlds" turns up a poem by Bronwen

Bronwin wrote:
They say I'm the cat who walks by herself,
That I am some eccentric wanderer.
Yet nothing so exotic as a gypsy.
I am the den of the world's sin,
Yet not even as lusted after as a whore.
Nor a murderer whose mind may be picked at.

I have seen no horrors of this world,
Nor committed acts to be judged on.
Yet they, something, haunts me endlessly,
Calling my name before I give way to sleep,
Filling my dreams with what men call evil.
But I cannot judge, cannot be revulsed.
In fact I seek it, calling back out to the voices.

I do not turn from the darkness of the womb,
Nor from the light of knowledge.
So neither take me, and I walk between worlds.
Like moths to a flame people seek me,
Fluttering in ever-tightening gyres,
But I will break you and I will feel no guilt,

For I am the wanderer of worlds,
And I am ever alone,
For neither man nor beast will have me

Although the copyright is 2007 so probably OOG

After asking Aurora what the doors are, I got this:

Quote:
...

I find it strange that no one has asked for a clue.

So I sent back:

Quote:
I would have, but I figured you wouldn't have given one.

Which is true Laughing

EDIT: So after asking about said clue, I got:
Quote:
There is but one step from the grotesque to the horrible.

Which is a line from a Shelock Holmes story, The Adventure of Wisteria Lodge.

Got anything yet?

I've tried names from the book and the title of the 2nd part (which the quote comes from) and the anthology of Holmes books which it was published in.

It's the last line of the story and it isn't explained what the step is.

Here's a copy of the text http://en.wikisource.org/wiki/The_Adventure_of_Wisteria_Lodge its creative commons licensed Smile
