I just got an email from nothingshereSPLATlive.com (with the "at" symbol, it looks like "nothings here alive", hence the name of this thread), subject Hello:

Hrm. Live.com was MS live search, and now sends you to bing.com. MS has done ARGs and virals before though. Binging (well, it's not googling) "nothing's here", "nothingshere" and "nothings here" on bing (er, live?) doesn't seem to turn up anything strange. Just a thought.

I don't think it's Microsoft. Anyone can get a live.com e-mail at hotmail.com. I chose live.com over hotmail.com because it seems to be less common.

 		I'm beginning to suspect this is involved with an already started ARG, Project 912, as I was IM'ed by a character from it just now. Could be just coincidence, though, but if I don't get any "other" contact soon, I'll know this belongs over on the 912 thread.

The title of the page is "There's Nothing in the Sea", and I didn't get a chance to let the whole pageload, (I could tell it was gonna take forever on dial-up), but the audio is www.nothinginthesea.co.cc/audio.mp3, and I believe it was also loading some Google Earth Plugin.
