Yeah, I find it pretty funny how many people read Dav's comments and thought he was In-Game, as opposed to a player (he posts on this board all the time, but it apparently bears repetition.)

Dav is not In-Game. He is playing the game.

Maybe some red circles with arrows would make Dav an in-game character. Until then, I just don't know.

Well I'm not too sure if people are being sarcastic or not... I didn't realize Dav was just a guy playing it like us, so I wasn't sure if maybe it was part of the whole Marble Hornets thing?

Anyways I have done the old yellow circle/zoom thing. A couple things:

1) If it isn't a man, what is it? I'm not saying this like, "There is clearly no other explanation!" I just want to know.

2) I thought it was the background, behind the vehicle's arm- but the light on the top of its "head" makes it look like it is in the foreground; it's the same kind of light as is on the leaves.

3)I don't mean to come across as an idiot.

Haha, dude, I love the thought of you sitting through hours of some dude's videos looking for a Slenderman that isn't there, waiting for a video tear or a distortion as his sister pilots a speedboat.

The magic of Slender Man is that in the woods and in the dark just about everything looks like Slender Man. It's a large part of what makes him terrifying.

Also, I'm pretty sure it's a wooden fencepost.

Fencepost, I can kind of see. Anyways.
I didn't go through some random guy's videos- I didn't know at the time that he wasn't a part of the game, so I thought that maybe his videos were connected to Marble Hornets. The first I had heard or seen of Dav was his video of him (I think it's him) reading the notebook- or the video is on his channel, at least. I just thought that it was another part of the puzzle, so I assumed also that his other videos were part of the mythology, too.

After doing more looking around at the JAF thing, I am starting to get it all figured out- by that I mean that he is just a normal guy and not an ingame character or whatever. I didn't know that when I posted the link; I just thought that, because whoever was in the video was wearing a shirt from Miskatonic University (HP Lovecraft's invention) that he was just playing along with the whole horror/supernatural thing.

And the screenshot still looks "off" to me. Laughing
