Damn fine guess. If you call, you should use that - if not let us know so somebody else can.

Someone else feel free to use it. I'm in the UK, so there's not much use me leaving my details. P:

Hm. I don't know if I should try this as well. Sounds like he wants multiple people to call.

To leave my info or not. Hmm.

Manifest Destiny, my friend. The pioneers had it, and you should too.

Might as well join in the fun.

I know I got the riddle wrong because in my haste to type while listening to him talk, I didn't really listen to what he said - then I left a message just to do so. Maybe we should all crack our heads together, figure out the riddle (That I have a feeling Dav already figured out... way to wait for the group bro! Razz) and then have someone call and leave the answer so we know one of us will get the pages.

Haha, no I haven't figured it out any more than you have (in fact, I'm willing to bet that the most likely answer is the one Slinkypants came up with). I just happened to call at 25 after, right before my math class, and realized there was a new voicemail. Naturally, my first response was "gotta post this!" so I was writing the post on my phone as I walked across the lawn to class--and of course that was when the network decided to drop out until after you had already posted Razz

So yeah, my best bet is what Slinkypants proposed, but someone should call it in (I'm not going to, and Slinky is in the UK, so someone make sure it's right). In the meantime, ponder what you think the correct answer will be and call in what you want to use as your answer. If anyone gets random stuff in the mail, they should be sure to let everyone know what the correct answer was!

And thank you Trox, I'm flattered Wink

If you read my transcript of the call you'll note that the message says "you brought the key" and "I'll give you the lock" - we're not responding to Thafreak's answer because that was already determined, long ago, and was part of how we got to the phone call today - it's not the answer to the call's riddle as well. Why would they give us a clue to finding when to call the phone number, and then have that same clue be the answer to the riddle presented at the time of the phone call?

Also, you should really consider seeking medical help if you're still convinced that Slenderman is really after you, bro.

The #

If you want to try calling and leaving an answer the number is:

1-518-631-5813

P.S. If you wanted to know I called 4 times, the first two i didn't hear him clearly and left a wrong answer to what I thought he said, the 3rd time I didn't leave my city and state, So I just called back gave him all the info plus my city and state. Think he'll pick me even though I called 4 times?

Maybe he means you have the key (you have it in your head) and you put the key (say it) into the lock on the door A.K.A the phone speaker?

It doesn't matter who he picks so long as one of us has given the correct answer, and is willing to share the result of the call with the rest of the forum.

Edit: Yeah, the idea of a specific code does make sense. So, the code is "HANDS"?

My logic as well.

Waitaminute, One of the posts on the blog said

Ergo, password = hands

Reading the message again now, I can see how he could be asking for 'hands' as the password. It strikes me as odd though that he'd bother using the riddle - why not just say 'What is the key?', rather than asking what we think of in the morning? The word 'hands' isn't something you think of first thing in the morning at all, so it makes that little part of the riddle seemingly irrelevant. The phrase 'What time is it?' is something you do think of, and it also suggests hands - in questioning the time, you question the position of a clock's hands. (I'm only thinking of these explanations for why 'What time is it?' might work now, as I hadn't thought of it beyond a vague 'Um, hands = clocks = morning' initially.) I quite agree that logically 'Hands' is the keyword required but I don't understand what the riddle is for if that is so. Any ideas?
