I've added the newest page to the comprehensive notebook archive.

Spoke too soon, I guess. Looking at the picture from Game Over to see if there's anything there. Thought the filename might be hex, but I'm getting nothing intelligible from online converters.

Brightened up and seriously upped the contrast on the left part of the image from above the Slendershadow, in the brush. There's definitely something edited in there, but I'm not sure if they're just creepy shadows edited in for effect (SM corrupts digital media!) or if there's some there there.

So, I have confirmation that this ARG is mostly over. The PM says that if we "don't see why this is the ending then I ask you to think about it a bit," and encouraged me to share the message.

I can't say that I'm bummed too much--it was still fun! I think that we're supposed to keep working with it a bit, though, and decide if we made a mistake or if this was the "good ending," and consider our roles in the game.

I think something bad happened to Joshua. Not only hasn't he posted after promising an update in short time, but the note that Logan left him said, "maybe I will see you in the nothingness of whatever is beyond this world(s)," foreshadowing Joshua's imminent demise. Also, Joshua said he was going to ride his motorcycle again and hadn't since his first encounter with SM. Is it likely that he encountered him again, on this ride, and that's why he hasn't posted?

Who knows? Maybe we did simply fail to save the characters. What does everybody else think?

What the hell could we do? We had no real way to contact Joshua, Logan can't or won't read as far as I can tell, and we solved damn near every puzzle in the notebook, but they don't fit TOGETHER. This was ridiculous.

There were the two other entities noted on the blog and in Logan's notebook and we failed to find them. It's also possible there was some code in Logan's notebook we failed to pick up on, but nothing jumped out at me at the time, and nothing does now, either.

Is that a SECOND Notebook? Where did you get it from?! I mean, "why?" It's obviously from the PM, but why do you have it?

And... I think one of those pages is addressing me specifically... I think everyone that Logan chose has a page in that notebook, including Joshua.

Dav, Josh, Logan, and the six chosen by Logan. Those are the "Nine," and I think we were supposed to all come together. Which means we got the "bad" ending, and now Logan and Josh are dead.

Or, Josh is the new Logan.

Alright, I have a couple of theories. I'm working on figuring out what we missed in the notebook that could have saved Logan and maybe Joshua, and here's my first thought:

It may have been my job to send out the remaining pages of the notebook. Maybe V was meant for dopeoplethink, like he originally thought. There are clues in the second notebook, like, "If this page stays with this notebook, then one day HE will get my message" (29.jpg), which might imply that certain pages aren't supposed to stay with the notebook.

Second, what got Joshua killed was his lack of involvement with the entire situation. Logan says in 28.jpg, "You can not in the truest sense of the word hide from him," and then on the next page, says, "You can simply open your EYES, and that, and only that, can keep him at bay."

Any thoughts?

Sad to see this story ending! This was quite a lot of fun - my hat's off to the PM for giving us such an eerie story. I imagined the game cycling through dozens of iterations of "investigate SM -> leave trail for friend -> SM takes you away -> friend investigates SM -> leaves trail..." Compared to what I had anticipated, I much prefer jafool's three-stage story:
Stage 1 - Matt is attacked by SM, leaving maddening knowledge that drives him to suicide.
Stage 2 - Matt passes it to Logan, who becomes obsessed and disappears.
Stage 3 - Joshua watches Logan's obsession devolve into death, and gets killed in the wake of his own investigation.

This story arc plays out as a nice investigation into the Slender Man: He takes his victims through madness, obsession, and direct attacks.

I am curious to find out the intent about some of the background details revealed through puzzles/notebooks: Yggdrasil in particular. It's interesting to think SM is not killing his victims, but is instead taking them to another dimension for purposes we can't imagine. Was that the intent of the notebooks, or am I misinterpreting the clues?

It'd be awesome if the creators had planned this all out to make it seem like a death, only to pop up later. XD Too bad the PM announced things with such finality!
