rabbit hole?

the size of the site, i could be a mammoth hole and it could still be missed quite easily

only things that i see recuring are the numbers 9 7 and 3, and religious stuff[isis{egyptian mythology} seems to be quite a popular one, as well]

EDIT: ok, a page that might[ Confused ] be a good place to start on is http://973-eht-namuh-973.com/coloured%20site/start/evokation/the_evokation.htm

though as far as i can see, from that page, you can't go back to the previous ones..

also, he quite a bit of this stuff is just the numeric position of letters, a=1, b=2, i=9 e.t.c

EDIT2: whatever this site is, some of the number games are pretty interesting ¬_¬

Has anybody looked through " The Grand Gallery"? Some very unusual pictures there...

It seems like the numbers correspond to certain letters, but not a straight 1=A 2=B sort of thing...

I could be wrong, but stuff like this is spread throughout the site.
1+ 0 is O

The second one is clearly the letter O ( whats more it's highlighted on the site.)

EDIT: http://www.973-eht-namuh-973.com/forum/viewforum.php?f=1&sid=8affcf2fa0f3405fddd03cb32508cb5f

This has been going on for a LONG time.

also this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5AygiR4PKYY&feature=channel_page
Bingo!

Holy Crap! This is ridiculous. I don't think it's an ARG...

I really have no idea what to think about it to be totally honest.

I am also clueless about it. But perhaps it was a study project, run by this Prof. from Manchester, since his topic is Medieval Language. Or perhaps he is fully unrelated, yet the domain was registered by somebody. who shared the same name with him. Both (if both) people are in UK.

Ah, and since it wasn't mentioned here,
eht namuh is nothing than the human, reversed (but in the back order)

and 973... perhaps 1973?

just out of curiosity, how'd you come to the forums on that site...

not an arg, so it probably should be discussed on the site's own forums, if at all, but i think i might look into this..
EDIT: registered for their forum, but require admin clearance

I remember seeing this mentioned before on unfiction. Ah, here is a short thread about it from 2007.

kosmopol, I think you have the wrong David Denison.

A little digging into the webs reveals the artist has been photographed, quite brilliantly, by one fast eddie 42.
http://www.flickr.com/photos/fasteddie42/73508926/in/photostream/

Within the comments on his flickr page, fast eddie 42 writes about Dave's work:
Quote:
eht namuh, is the human written backwards, essentially Dave's work is saying there are common links between faiths & cultures past & present & the energy & creative forces therein. Masses of information relating to this.

Elements of his site are rather cryptic due to his sense of humour & also to challange the reader to look deeper & seek out for themselves the knowledge that lies within.

On one of the pages, http://www.973-eht-namuh-973.com/coloured%20site/second%20button/61the_message.htm , the owner of the site includes reviews of an art exhibit of his from 1977. The review gives us some info about the artist's background.

Quote:
SUNDAY TIMES <snip>
Review by Lawrence Gowing

24th July 1977

Pages 16 and 17
"Where are the good painters of the 1970s In quite surprising places, very likely. One of them is in a West Yorkshire school for prison officers (of whom he is one) giving classes in first-aid. David Denison, who has a current exhibition at Ilkley Manor House, Yorkshire, is almost entirely self-taught. As a result he has learned an astonishing skill of a highly personal kind. He is a natural surrealist - a breed that is commoner In England than in more rational countries, but is very rare even here. . . "

I agree, it's not an ARG but rather an invitation to explore someone else's "alternate reality" and perhaps learn something along the way.

This website is not any part of an ARG.

It has been around for a while, and the story behind it is that some math teacher went insane and claimed to have 'seen the secrets of the universe through the number 9'
