There were candles in the video. Not exactly an explosion, but it's fire, nonetheless.


I was referring to what happened in entry 26.


Oh. Right. I knew that. Um. Maybe.. The operator burned the place where Alex was living down? Or not. It probably would have been mentioned if it did.

 		Jay's apartment building burned down, not Alex's. Remainder of post spoilered for OOG reference.

Keep in mind that the apartment fire was in Season 1, where Troy admits that they really didn't know where they were going with the plot. I'm not sure if they had things squared out by this point or not, but it's possible that this was just supposed to be "creepy factor" and doesn't really match up to anything.

That being said, they would do well to retcon it into something of importance. I'm guessing somehow TiMasky was involved.

I know that, I'm saying that we don't know what happened to the place Alex was living in when he sent his help video - it could easily have been burned down, but it could also easily have been left alone.
