I've been in contact directly, and it's been made very clear to me that while the Party expands its re-education plans, we must expand our escape plans. Today, beginning at noon Eastern Time, I will direct defecting Grotians to safe passage out of the Zone. It will be difficult, and given last week's failures, quite possibly deadly.

I will need your help to keep the Grotians alive and well. If we can do that, they'll also be free.

I'll be in touch.

Things are crazy here. The usual, clean clockwork of the city is history now. Lines are stacked up at restaurants waiting for food that comes much more slowly, if at all. Trains and buses, which usually move Proscripts around with precise timing and routes, are late or going to the wrong places. Security teams have been drafted into less glorious service than they're used to. They've been cleaning laundry, washing dishes, and sweeping the streets since the weekend.

It looks like Jameson's dream isn't so nice when he loses some of his slave labor.

I'm afraid life isn't much better for the Grotian refugees we've moved outside the Zone, either. They're either hiding in over-packed, Party provided labor homes or being taken in by sympathetic Proscripts. Thankfully, many of the Proscripts who don't live in the Zone are less hostile to the refugees than those who have been exposed to regular Party propaganda. Without their help, things would be very bad for the Grotians.

While most of Jameson's forces have been reassigned to handle the jobs Grotians usually do, some have been sent after our escaped friends. Re-education teams have been going house to house in the districts devoted to labor housing, searching out the ones who got away. Any resistance is met with brutal force. Many Grotians who never lived or worked a day in the Zone are being re-educated and sent there to work.

It's clear that Jameson's policy is to bring the slave labor back and continue with business as usual. We've got to stop it, and I think I know how to start. Garfield seemed very interested in the location of Edward Jameson's shield. If we can find it first, we might be able to bargain with him.

The good news is that while the chaos continues, I can move (fairly) freely around the Zone. Most Party buildings will still be tough to access, but I can go anywhere else without much trouble. Tell me where to look for the shield, and maybe I can finally contribute more than paranoia to our cause.

I'm fairly sure that Archie was just fulfilling his obligation to support the Party.

As for your sabotage activities, I think I have a good idea. The Proscripts (and even some of the most loyal Party members) have been critical of Jameson's decision to declare martial law. They don't like that his policies are forcing them into uncomfortable lifestyles, and they certainly don't like having their homes searched.

We need to solidify those feelings. The more people we can turn against him, the more help we can get for the poor, re-educated Grotians. Can you organize an effort to hurt his image?

We need to mock him. We need to make him look ineffective. We need to make him look like a joke. Get as many people as you can to post responses to his latest video, and make him look as bad as you can.

Then, while he's worried about saving his own image, we might be able to do some good.

while I like the idea of a statement by Archie I think Neph would be the perfect person to get him to do it. She wrote his PSA statement and he thinks that she's very smart, and she's a party member. The last thing Archie wrote me was "good luck in your cause". Rolling Eyes

Neph, do you wanna do that?

and PPP peeps in general, are you gonna help with us in deconstructing Jameson?

 		I wonder if the one that is there now is a fake? As for the power, i think its just an excuse for them to try and kill more people off. I don't know if today is the day we bring the re-eds down to the basement, but I do know that it seems important that we remember the right elevator is the only one that goes down there. I think this pretty much confirms that LOTI is Phillip Thomas.

hmmm my guess is that the strange faky sword could be put into the carving of Jamesons sword on the fountain. This will trigger a secret mechanism, the fountain will open and Melvin will come out, on a dragon, with the real sword and shield!
