That is an odd message, I wonder why the old man thought you might find it helpful? How did you decode it. I have some experience with encryption from my previous job but I have never seen that before. The other two were slightly different (I think only the last word was different).

 		I've been playing around with the last short blip at the end of the video, but all I hear from it is "There was nothing of this" or "There was nothing but this."

Maybe different ears will find a different solution.
