Well, at least now we have a definite location for ENOUGH, and there's no question that they are affiliated with TEDO (if there still was). Perhaps someone who is in the neighborhood can take a look at where the map is pointing us?

So I have a couple ideas about the strange symbols. I've attached an image of my notes on a couple of the symbols. The symbol that bluesylvia refers to as the "slanted 7" is the character for the syllable "nu" in Japanese katakana. I have no idea what it means in this context though as of now. Another symbol (as marked on the image) looks nearly identical to one of the alchemical symbols for gold. I've sent this image to a friend (who knows more Japanese than me) to see f he could identify any of the symbols as Kanji. I'm waiting for a response from him.

The gold symbol and some things that others have said really had me thinking about alchemy and if it could be involved in this. I found a strange description of the Philosopher's stone online that could explain a bit if indeed this has to do with alchemy.

In ancient alchemy texts, agens are spoken about as being necessary for transformation. There are many names used to describe these agens and some examples include "Quintessence," the "Great Elixir" or the "Elixir of Life," "Philosophical Powder," and the "Philosopher's Stone." Some texts say that the Philosopher's Stone could change base metals into gold, or transform the "base" version of a given thing to its higher, or "gold" version.

In the alchemist's Great Work, the Philosopher's Stone is described as being man. It is also described as the spirit that exists in everything that has been created, including man himself. According to these beliefs, the Stone is not something physical that could be found and possessed. It is a symbol of the pure being who is enlightened and aware of his true state and all that is around him.

Could OP be related to the philosopher's stone in any way? Could he possibly be the "stone" himself?

I know I may be way off base here, but just throwing out ideas

Well, as I'm sure you've all noticed by now, the "slanted 7" appears at the beginning of every letter (I'm assuming that the dots are breaks between letters). However, the symbol above the 7 and the large one to the right of the 7 do change. I'm not sure how that relates, but it might be a good starting point.

OP did say that apparently Eve told one of us how to translate it. Anybody have any idea who that someone might be? I would guess it would be someone who's had contact with her the most, which would probably be either bluesylvia or carpathianroses. Maybe just go through the emails you've gotten from Eve and see if you can find anything pertinent? If not, OP did say that we could ask him and he might be able to help out.

Also, welcome to uF aridsky! I think the Philosopher's Stone is a good idea, especially considering the different stones that are central to this universe. I'll see if I can find anything else as well, though I make no promises, haha.

Also, got another email back from OP after showing him the email from TEDO that made me ask OP for his name:

Well it looks like we have several ways we can go at this point, none of which seem easy.

The first is to figure out the note, which no one knows how to decode. If whomever was told how to decode it steps up and says so we would be good. Or we could try to contact ThisEve and see if she could tell someone else how to decode it. The issue with that though is that she *might* be dead. TEDO claims she is, but I'm not sure I would trust them on this without evidence.

The second is to contact ThatEve and Abie (they are still together... correct?). The issue with that is that ThatEve seems to be ignoring people. I'm tempted to send her a tweet on twitter, but I'm not sure if she would respond since she doesn't know me at all.

The third way is to try and scrape up some info on "Frederick Granton". The only solid info I have been able to find on that name is that Frederick Granton is a fictional character in an old book/TV show called "The Queen's Husband". I have no idea what it's about though. I cannot find a synopsis about it. FG could be anagram (like OP Smith is stop him) but I'm not seeing anything there.

Anyone else have any good ideas? It's been several days since we have made any progress. I am fairly new to ARGs and may be wrong, but wouldn't that usually mean that we are missing something considering how long it's been since we progressed?

It's been my experience with this game that it tends to move a bit slower than some of the other games, haha. I would bet that figuring out that note is the best way to proceed, but I'm not sure how to go about that. Since nobody is stepping up and suggesting that they have been told how to solve it, I think we should send OP a cry for help. I'm going to send him an email letting him know that we're having some trouble with the numbers, and see if he has any help for us.
