[22:49] <Caretaker> He wasn't violent, but he was spouting gibberish all night
[22:50] <Caretaker> some type of computer code or programming syntax or something
[22:50] <Caretaker> I wish I had been there to record it

[22:50] <grumpyboy> what about when you visited him?
[22:50] <Caretaker> I'm not a programmer. It was total gibberish to me.

[22:52] <Caretaker> They are putting him on 24 hour observation at my request
[22:52] <spookykid> onyx and i both know some programming (him a lot more than me)
[22:53] <Caretaker> My visit this morning was quite brief.
[22:53] <grumpyboy> did he say or do anything that might help us interpret his crossword clues?
[22:53] <Caretaker> I brought the scrabble board along and tried to engage him in a game
[22:53] <spookykid> you'll be sad to know that the best we've come up with is trying to match the crossword clues to bible passages
[22:53] <Caretaker> I also brought along a completed crossword puzzle.
[22:54] <Caretaker> That's very interesting
[22:54] <Caretaker> Did you know that Marcus was a lay minister in his church until recently?
[22:54] <spookykid> is he religious?
[22:54] <spookykid> yes jackpot!
[22:54] <spookykid> christian church right?
[22:54] <Caretaker> anyway, he completely ignored the completed crossword.
[22:55] <Caretaker> And he had little interest in Scrabble
[22:55] <Caretaker> He started flipping pieces randomly and then flung the board and tiles onto the floor.
[22:55] <Magesteff> Caretaker he may have reverted from the Mephisto persona to the Reggie one, in which case there is a different set of triggers
[22:55] <spookykid> could we find out which his preferred chapters/testament etc. are?
[22:56] <spookykid> we've figured john 3:16 is probably the first pair in that case
[22:56] <Addlepated> Oops, I just got here - have we asked about the Bible?

[22:56] <Caretaker> He was very withdrawn after that and wouldn't talk at all.
[22:56] <spookykid> guy was a lay minister until recently

[22:57] <Caretaker> he wrote 8141 on a notepad just before I left
[22:58] <spookykid> caretaker, it would be cool if you could take a recording of your meetings with him, and then possibly have them transcripted
[22:58] <Caretaker> it didn't seem very deliberate. It was like idle doodling.
[22:58] <Addlepated> You don't have a scan of the 8141, do you?
[22:58] <spookykid> could just be a pin number
[22:58] <Caretaker> I kept the paper. Let me see if I can scan it tonight.

[23:02] <Caretaker> I'm not sure what denomination his church is. They are probably most closely in tune with the Methodist outlook on Christianity.
[23:02] <spookykid> methodist are more new testament types aren't they?
[23:02] <grumpyboy> caretaker, was the "8141" Reggie wrote, written as one number or more as 4 separate digits?
[23:03] <Magesteff> Yes, somewhere between Episcopals and Baptist I think
[23:03] <Caretaker> i believe so
[23:03] <Caretaker> the digits were scrawled on a pad.
[23:04] <Caretaker> i'll send it out and you can make your own determination.

[23:05] <Caretaker> There is a tremendous amount of activity on campus right now
[23:06] <spookykid> they're preparing something
[23:06] <Caretaker> His return caused quite an uproar

[23:06] <spookykid> it's okay, according to my various quantum theory books, time travel is still impossible Smile

[23:07] <Caretaker> I've put out some feelers with my former employer, but they are stonewalling me.

[23:08] <spookykid> if you're the risking type, get the cleaner/maint. guy to put a few microphones in the airducts ya know
