[Trailhead?]The Lost Symbol

While visiting my sister, I noticed that on the back of Dan Brown's (Of The Da Vinci code fame) new book "The Lost Symbol" there are some interesting things. A block of 16 letters in red, two rows of symbols that look to me like substitiution cypher, and some co-ordinates (I belive one was G6).

I don't know if this is a game or not, as I don't have the book to research it; my sister is not going to let me have it untill she's finished reading it.

I have seen in several places that the stuff on the back is a code, which makes sense given who wrote it!

Thanks for the tip. I have the book but haven't settled in to read it yet. Looking at the back I immediately noticed a Pigpen cipher. Other codes are on there too.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
You have to turn the book the right way to read the pigpen cipher. Once you do you find:
All great truths begin as blasphemies

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
The code on the jacket is a puzzle to solve in order to try and get one of 33 autographed copies.

The 16 letters in the red grid near the bottom can be rearranged to spell:

If you go to thelostsymbol.com, there's a flash game based on identifying symbols. If you get 33 right without making a mistake, there is a recorded message from Dan Brown that says

Spoiler (Rollover to View):

That there are 5 total hidden messages on the front and back cover of the book

On the front and back of the book there are red letter and number pairings:

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
A2, B1, C2, D7, E8, F2, G9, H5, I1, J5 - the letter shows the order, with the numbers making the telephone number 212-782-9515.
Call it and you get a message about the 33 signed copies of the book and how to claim one. Searching online it looks like this may be old news so it is unlikely there are any still available.
