[NEW] www.cascadevortex.com From the ZLFC forum:
Cascade Vortex was found by looking at docuement #73 in the Archives on little-boxes.net. It states:
"This one's been lurking in the shadows of Mt. Rainier, apparently. A hotspot of physics gone bad just south of the national park in WA is the Cascade Vortex, a well-established tourist attraction...
Then someone just got the idea about typing www.cascadevortex.com

OK only thing I found out is that the other page (flaq.html) has a class defined named FLIP but it isn't used once... strange huh. Lord knows what that means.

In addition:
Remember that quote from Alice in Wonderland?
I won't recall it.
I'll remind you that there were the sequel - Alice Through The Looking Glass.
And the FLIPped text of the Vortex FAQ is reverted right like it's been mirrored.

The page is flipped using CSS, it's just a standard feature.. The actual code the flips the page is really simple:
Code:
Using CSS
body.flip { filter: flipv; }
and then in the HTML
<body class="flip">
more examples of CSS filters such as flipv or fliph.. they would have used fliph if they wanted to mirror it. I dont think this means anything.

Interestingly enough - the flip function doesn't work on Opera... I had to go to IE to figure out what everyone was talking about.
Could that be a clue? Whether you see the glitch depends on what software you're working with?

Moz 1.5b doesn't render the flip either.

I would say more likely it is just another website programed to IE HTML.
That is really neat though, I've never seen it before.

1. Every UnderScore Hosting banner (that is on EACH metacortex site except for metacortex itself) has an alt text - "Please see USH Terms of Use".
2. In the text of UnderScore Hosting Terms of Use there is term "Matrix" used. To be exact, it's "USH Control Matrix".
Feels warmer, isn't it?

Also, most of the USH pages have a metatag claiming to be created on MetaCortex MetaPage V1.0.4 (which obviously doesn't exist). The Linux-hosting page seems to be made on IBM NetObjects TopPage V4.0.3 for Windows. Just an observation.

Regarding the flip working on some browsers and not others, that is interesting, because the code fragments on MC's flash intro describe some browser dependant code too.
