I've seen a message hidden in an image that was visible after playing with brightness, contrast or color in MS Paint or Picture Manager.

I can't do that on this computer but it's a suggestion someone could try with these images.

I already did that twice. Alas, nothing.

Well, Invisible Secrets 4 finds nothing in either picture, trying both passwords on both pictures, trying both the passwords in conjunction, separating capitals and under case, trying every algorithm... I'm out of ideas.

Keep it simple, stupid.

Well, unfiction has 3 stegonography programs linked. That's as simple as I can think. Has anyone tried the camouflage or camera/shy programs(the third one is a broken link)??
EDIT: Camera/shy doesn't seem to do PNG, and I can't get the camouflage setup file to work.

I was about to say: Camera/Shy is only for GIFs.

Did anyone translate the text on both pictures? Maybe our clue is hidden in plain sight.

I've tried Invisible Secrets twice and three other freeware steganalysis programs. IS yielded nothing, one of the other programs was the German one which didn't work, one of them only accepted Jpegs, and one crashed when I tried to use it. I ran the image through an internet steganography decoder as well, but this produced an error. I also opened the image in photoshop and messed around with the contrast, brightness, and coloration. This produced nothing also. This I finished about half an hour ago, at which point I attempted the ditch effort of opening the image in Notepad (this does work for some images, but this one was too large and the program crashed), and this obviously didn't work.

I agree that we definitely need to shift our focus away from steganography of the sort we've been trying.

Maybe "REvOlUTiOn, ExPECTinG" was decoded wrong? Maybe one uppercase letter should be lowercased? Or vice-versa.

nah, it's been confirmed that those are correct by dubrovin and junsui
REvOlUTiOn
and
ExPECTinG

are 2 keys to unlock the 2 locks (the PNGs)

the problem is the method of encoding....

Try looking at the image itself. Are there any artist's tricks? Maybe translating the text? I can't imagine the hidden message being this hard to find/unintuitive.

I have a question.

We know we must open the locks, but... We know what is behind this locks? A code? A coordenate? Because, if some people can't find anything inside the .png's, or can't use a program that support .png, then maybe the solution can be find with one unique software: our mind, instead of steganonography, like Miss Domsday said.

Once again I said: it look suspicious to me the name of both pictures. A japanase names (Kitsune [Fox] and Kakureteiru [Hiding]) for occidental pictures. I think that if the name weren't relevant, the instead of Kitsune and Kakureteiru, they would have some p324780.png, palace.png, or something like that

And sorry for can't help in a more value way Rolling Eyes I'm still new in this kind of things.
