So sorry Sven.
Must be my POS.
(Weird though.... when you posted on page two it went double wide on me with the text bunched way on the right)
Anybody else see this? Or has my machine developed an allergy to Sven?
Been happening on my laptop the past few days, dunno' why.

Also, FYI - the tone sound that runs through most of this clip is a 1kHz sine wave tone, often used for alignment and calibration in most audio systems. To be exact the tone isn't exactly 1000 cycles (1kHz) but is 1046 cycles (1.046kHz). I don't think this is significant, but maybe it'll make a light go on in someone's head.
Is there a way to subtract out this tone?
Yeah, I can give it a shot - I don't think it'll reveal much however....

I am wondering about the there was more thing. It seems almost too obvious. The problem is that there's no 'O' - It would seem odd to invent a font where 0 and O are exactly the same width. I've also speculated that there might be some pattern to the arrangement of letters, but haven't got anywhere with it yet.

"CL0SELY" in Regards uses a zero instead of an O, and the message is "LOK" rather than "LOOK". It's possible that totheark is removing single O's from words, although the title of the video Operator and "YOU" in Deluge use the letter O instead of a zero.
Thematically, Regards and Impurity go together ("look closely", "there was more") - both seem like friendly/helpful messages. Operator and Deluge seem to share a more threatening nature (watching you, "listen" hidden in a poem about death) and share the \ symbol. The fact that only the friendly videos are missing O's seems important.
Noticed one more thing - the friendly videos are tagged "ark", while the menacing videos are not.
Perhaps totheark is shared by two users, or is aiming videos at two different targets?

Some B-side theories. Long-shots, but I wanted to put them out there:
- The descriptions of the friendly videos translate to "HI" (8 /'s and 9 0's).
- The last flash of zeroes in Impurity gives us two rows of 31 (15 18 31 31 18 15). The word "CL0SELY" in Regards translates to "3 12 0 19 5 12 25", which translated from base 10 to base 8 (description of first video was gives us "3 14 0 23 5 14 31". Therefore, both videos contain the number 31.

There are clues in these totheark videos. I just know it. The Marble Hornets videos are story, but the meat of the game is in the totheark vids. We're missing something. Something obvious. Does anybody know how you go about dowloading youtube videos? I want to go though these frame by frame.

Some of us have been doing just that. I use
http://www.getvideomp3.com/
But be careful, I don't think it preserves the quality entirely.

Is there a way you can run this tone alongside the Entries or other TTA videos? Perhaps you can find which videos share the exact or similar tone? It might be a clue.
