Why's that? I was under the impression that Texas was in the middle of a drought.

Also, FYI - the tone sound that runs through most of this clip is a 1kHz sine wave tone, often used for alignment and calibration in most audio systems. To be exact the tone isn't exactly 1000 cycles (1kHz) but is 1046 cycles (1.046kHz). I don't think this is significant, but maybe it'll make a light go on in someone's head.

Is there a way to subtract out this tone?

Yeah, I can give it a shot - I don't think it'll reveal much however....

Is there a way you can run this tone alongside the Entries or other TTA videos? Perhaps you can find which videos share the exact or similar tone? It might be a clue.

I found five entries with solid frequencies present. Two were Alex's car, one was a cell phone ring, one was background noise, and one was in Impurity. My frequency measurements are +/-5 Hz due to the program I used.

Here's the full list:
- Impurity: maintains a solid 1049 Hz frequency.
- Entry 3: one of the tones in the cell phone call Alex ignores at 118 seconds contains a 1049 Hz component.
- Entry 2: Alex's car has two sounds, one is just 1006 Hz, the other is three pitches combined: 2223 Hz, 1491 Hz, 748 Hz.
- Entry 11: solid tone at 823 5.4 Hz strongest when Alex is standing next to the Slender Man looking out the window.

In response to bozmond's audio files a couple of pages back, does it sound like the beginning of Ride of the Valkyries to anyone else?

Noticed that most of the rows of zeroes don't line up - actually, they line up but only in small groups. I numbered the lines by group, and included the "therewasmre" text on the lines they appeared.
Code:
0
0
0T
1
1H
2
2E
2
3R
4E
5
5W
6
7
7AS
8
8MR
8E

Other than group 8, all other groups contain only one row with letters. It is possible that the position of the letters (at least on the X axis) is important, since the letters are not aligned on a grid.

There are a few other things we can do with this information:
* Counting the number of rows per group produces: 3 2 3 1 1 2 1 2 3
* We can attempt to translate the rows into morse code. Blank rows would translate into a dot. A dash would be either a row with a letter, or a letter. Our produced code could be .-.-.-.--.-..--.--- or .-.-.-.--.-..-.-- which can translate to either ARK-.-..-.-- or ARK-.-..--.--- (the latter can give us ARKCANTM).

Could you run those last three lines by me again? I'm not quite sure what you're doing.

I edited my last post a little because I rushed it near the end. Each line of zeroes either has letter(s) or has none - if we translate lines with no letters as dot and lines with letters as dash then we get some string of morse code (or binary). The first few translated letters from the code can be ARK, which made me think it could be intentional.

I see. I'm increasingly starting to think you might be some sort of genius. I had noticed the staggering of the lines before, but couldn't make much of it. If you're right though, it looks like we only have half of the message - ark can't move? Ark can't make sense? Ark can't manually disable the bombs? Who knows.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again, morscata12 is the most useful member yet. He's made more headway alone than any of us.

Also, I know this is an ARG, but I'm beginning to get weirded out by real-life events :/ Last night, I was on the phone, talking with a friend and smoking. Suddenly, I became very cold. The temperature had just dropped, and the wind had gone still.

Fifteen minutes, a police officer drove up and asked if I had called. I said no, because, I hadn't, and he drove off looking pissed.

So, someone had called the police for some reason.

Don't see that anyone has posted this yet, apologies if it's already been covered. Near the beginning of the movie, when the screen changes briefly to show this:

00000000000000000000000000
00000
000000000000000000
000000000000000

Those lines are 26, 5, 18, and 15 zeroes long, which are the alphabetic codes for Z, E, R, O. ZERO.

Can't say that means much but it is kinda cool.

Also there are exactly 15 zeroes between the M and the R in the end shot, which is again of course the code for "O". Can't be a coincidence.

Your first post HAS been covered already, but, the second post is news.

I guess it IS "More." We should count the zeroes between the other letters, too, to see if they are of significance.
