Have you noticed the page Marckesano has under "location" in his Flickr demands a password and a username, under the question "EVERYTHING"?

The capitals, and the word itself, makes me think it could be InGame, what do you think? The page's this http://www.homeostatic.net

Nope, Dubrovin was born in 1959. It was on his FB info.

I'm not sure if I understood well. AAT doubts the guy on the picture to be Dubrovin, because he was born on 1959 and the picture reads 85 birthday.

But the picture reads "Dinner at Babushka Dubrovin's 85th", Babushka is something like "Matriarch" if i'right, so it would make sense that Dubrovin's mom would be celebrating her 85th bd with his son around.

it is possible the man sitting next to Marckesano could be Dubrovin.

AAT understood when I asked if the man in the photo that Basil Valentine posted was Dubrovin. However when I looked through Marckesano's Flickr stream, it is obvious Basil is looking for Patrick.

And that's really all Basil's done since the game started. So I'm not too worried about whatever Basil says.

That is correct.

did you miss the part where the PM unprovoked posted players' real-life information on the internet and encouraged people to mess up with them?

Well yes, Buckminster. In fact if you are going to make such a claim it helps if you are more specific and offer proof. Because as far as I am aware the only "real-life information" that's ever been posted are their names (ones they were using openly in facebook or in correspondence with IG characters).

And to say the PMs or IG characters have done any of this unprovoked is just dishonest and unfair. No, I am sorry you cannot be a nasty IG or OOG and expect not to have repercussions. You get what you give.

Have you noticed that most players have managed to evade the supposed tyrannic wrath of the PMs? I wonder why that is. Perhaps because they weren't acting like spoiled children?

It is very late here and I need to retire but all I am really asking is that this group be more introspective and stop blaming everything on the PMs. And most importantly, I urge everybody who is not having a good time to leave.

Sorry for singling young Mr. Flor but I see him as a catalyst for many negative turns throughout this little melodrama. Overall he strikes me as a very antisocial and ill-meaning person. He is only here to cause trouble. He says so himself.

You are blaming AAT for the PMs posting his name and rank on Facebook, even though it blatantly says on face book the name he uses here? Before Yuri even posted his name and rank i had no idea what it was. Stop making excuses for them. It is unacceptable.

And for the record, I was having a great time until all this "real life" crap started. It's one thing to play an ARG and get through puzzles slowly but surely, it's another to have your real life information posted on the internet for everyone to see while the PMs are treating you like

As essential guideline moving forward, remember that in intelligence a MAJORITY of information yielded from target adversary is designed to misinform and distract.

You must remove yourselves from the civilian's assumption that all information is meant to be tracked in linear kind of way. This is the way of a simulation, NOT real life operations.

You must first always be critical of information source and evaluate. Maintain multiple parallel paths of inquiry and prioritize as different sources do not withstand scrutiny.

well let's get back to the task at hand (for those who are interested, they do allow a few to answer so you can see who missed it, and share your answers)

so far we have all tried:

dzhunsuy
alfa-tsentr
yamantaw (which is how it is spelled on wiki)
australia
paynes find
-29.21, +117.63
Maschienenwerk gambit

if any of you have tried anything else, please post it here. that way we can start taking some of these tries out.

In regards to this has any one tried Black Sea, seeing as how
"The Enemy pursued Nedaxe's sister until drowned in Black Sea waters." This is in Junko's twitter feed.
Or possibly Hyperboreal because of this post
"Junko is NOT me. The Enemy chased her forever into the dark wood of theHyperboreal."

We have already solved the Second Life puzzle regarding those clues.

We have one of two ways to go. We can try to figure out what to do with the Targa file that was given to us by the Junsui on Second Life.

Or we can figure out where Patrick Marckesano went.

ok obviously that didn't work.

mm that string doesen't looks like the final part of a SL's ID?

Example:

sergio37 found www.thehoteldare.com WHOIS information leads to:

89cde8b30a14115200c4ad6f51d7ab40SPLATdomaindiscreet.com . I wonder if that has to do with the UUID somehow?

Hotel Dare is a real Second Life "property", maintained by a collective of individuals.

The PMs manually edited one of the rooms to their liking. Last time I was in there, the only change I saw based on the pictures I've seen of its original state was that one of the Junsui images was in the frame on the wall.
