It isn't misinformation. I can confirm that.

I wouldn't double cross. run with it.

I don't understand, I thought AAT both you and Steve-O had the info from Dubrovin... if what Astrotrain posted is it, why is Steve-O saying it's not relevant and you're telling us to run with it?

Just confused... Could it be relevant to what we're working on now or is it for something further down the road?

I have no idea man.

But think about it logically.

Yuri was ADAMANT that this information surface. Junsui followed suit.
We ran into another lock.

We haven't exhausted what's in that email. I was the original recipient of that info.

Just because steve-o and I don't know what the hell it is.... Doesn't mean it doesn't fit.

before, it meant nothing to us because there was nowhere for it to go into. we had a triangle, but no triangle hole.

right now we're sorta blind. we don't know what keys we have, and we don't know what locks they go to.

But as of now, we have a new lock.

The Curragh (Irish An Currach) is a flat open plain of almost 5,000 acres (20 kmē) of common land in County Kildare, Ireland, between Newbridge and Kildare. This area is well-known for Irish horse-breeding and training.

Martinstown House?: Just on the edge of the Curragh, near Punchestown, Naas and The Curragh race courses, this delightful 200-year old house was built by the famous architect Decimus Burton who also designed the lodges in the Phoenix Park, Dublin, and is the only known domestic example of this 'Strawberry Hill' gothic architectural style in Ireland.

Czarina=Tsaritsa=The wife or widow of a czar .The last Russian Tsaritsa was Alexandra Fyodorovna (Alix of Hesse) who was married to Nicholas II of Russia.

La Serena may refer to: La Serena, Chile, a city.

Laibach: German name for Ljubljana, the current capital of Slovenia

Finally, I might just be of some use. I'm irish myself, and I know a good bit of the mythology surrounding the curragh plain. Nothing that could be said to be an "origin" though. Curragh is an army training camp even in mythology. Another possibility is the curragh boat (spelt currach in southern irish) which is a lightweight wooden boat they used to use for fishing. I've ridden in a few off rathlin.

exactly as Yuri said.

I tried, and failed to get anything useful. If someone has a fave steg program, please try; I still think something's there.

Has the original TGA been made available to all? From my understanding, only a few people have it, and a JPG version was posted here.

Is it something that can be decoded using the "dark corner" cypher?

Miss_Doomsday, thank you for the reference.

I ran the file through StegSpy 2.1 and it found that there was steg data in the file, apparently hidden using a program called Hiderman. I downloaded Hiderman and tried to extract whatever I could, and quickly ran into a minor problem:

Hiderman has a feature that allows you to hide data in a cover file and make it "undetectable" to Hiderman and (according to Hiderman's help file) any application. However, when you are positive you have a file with embedded data, you can force Hiderman to perform an extraction and successfully recover what was hidden. In other words, its a feature designed to help stegged files evade detection.

This is a problem because it means either a) The file doesnt have steg, and StegSpy gave me a false positive or b) The file does have steg, StegSpy didn't give me a false positive, in which case, we need a password to recover the data.

To make matters worse, I tried running Hiderman's extract function on a control file (that I knew was clean) and I got the exact same results as with the TGA file: a password prompt. To get a better understanding of the mechanics of this file, I recommend anyone who is willing to download these apps and try it out for yourself. To experience the full extent of my frustration, make sure you run Hiderman on a clean file too.

StegSpy - steg detection software:

Hiderman - "supposedly" used to steg the TGA, according to StegSpy

I'm completly lost. I've done as Valentin said, but got no results. By the way I don't really trust that Hiderman program. I ran in on one of our previous locks, "Kakureteiru", and first the program said it contained no steg data, and when forced to recover, of course using the password we had, it didn't work. The other program, the steg detector seems to work fine, so i guess we could trust it, but as Steve-O said, they sent him the screenshot quite quickly. It's possible it contains no steg data, so we would be losing time. I propose two courses of action:

- De-steg: Maybe we can contact the one who made the application (spihuntrSPLATgmail.com) and ask him for some advice, but anyway we'd have to figure out a password.

- Keep thinking of a possible password for the Vimeo protected video. But then, the password could be on the steg data.
