I think the accepted Slender Man mythos suggests that the more arms he is, the more dangerous to you he is.

Basically, if you see 11 arms, you're fucked.

A common theory is that he doesn't wear suits, per-say, but rather the suit is part of his manifestation, and when the arms grow out, they're covered in the suit material already.

I would say he "assimilates" (Borg reference for teh win!). What I mean by that is he, for lack of a better word, 'morphs' into the form of whatever style is socially acceptable. For example, in the Dir Ritter picture, he is in armor. Seems fitting for the time. Nowadays, he's in a black suit, tie, and might I say STYLISH black shoes, HAAHAH.

 		In one set of pictures from the relative same time as Der Ritter, he was in a suit. I guess it depends, or maybe it just LOOKED like a suit. I dunno.

Then again, my wingnut lolz-theory is that this is all a story about the fear of growing up. It's blatant in the backstory of the pretentious student film. The entire game/story is steeped in metaphors, whether or not they're conscious! Very Happy

Well, that would be fine and all, if Slendy came from their story. But, Slendy didn't come from Marble Hornets.

I meant more that the theory that the black suit is actually part of his body, as his skin or whatever, would be a new adaptation of sorts. As you can see in the Der Ritter picture, he appears to just be wearing the armor; it doesn't go with his arms as he impales the other character.
