You wouldn't be the first to spot that. It's not impossible, but not really substantial either.

Well I could post you a haddock, but I imagine it will be a bit stale by the time it gets across the Atlantic...

Ah now I remember, it was spotted in that video "all the slender man sightings so far". It does make sense he'd be there, I suppose, if you take the view that the distortion and visual tearing somehow indicates his proximity.

Just from random wikipedia diving, I noticed something interesting. It's probably unrelated but I'll throw it out anyways.

It's been noted that [at least] one of the symbols for the Slender Man is a circle-with-cross.

Quote:
However, alchemical books of the period share a common pictorial language, where processes and materials are represented by specific images (such as eagle, toad, man in tomb, couple in bed) or standard textual symbols (such as circle with cross); and none of these could be convincingly identified in the Voynich manuscript.

Again, probably unrelated. From here.

I don't recall which thread but we have talked about the meanings of the operator symbol. It has been used variously for all sorts of applications, so it's probably just coincidence. That said, it is worth looking at those meanings, it's easy to believe many of them have some sort of implications. Such as the 'STOP' sign.

New here (and sorry if this has been covered already. I flipped through this thread and didn't see any mention of this, but I could have easily over-looked it).
In Entry #4, around 30-33 seconds, are my eyes playing tricks on me, or is SM under the light on the left hand side of the screen?
I'm not too tech-savvy, so I don't know how to make a still from the youtube video.

Yup! My imagination, or slenderman?

It might be him. Slender Man also seems to be between the two trees in that screencap. It's hard to know because his silhouette is recognizable as a white dot on top of a black line (like an i). I am convinced the game creators included a lot of SM lookalike props (and took advantage of lighting tricks) while filming the entries.

SM seems to get away from Alex pretty quickly by the end of entry 4. It's very possible SM is lurking in the background somewhere, and Alex just didn't see him.

Hard to tell. I just see a light oval shape in a dark shaky scene, sorry.

I agree. SM's outline and general form is perfect for that and people are primed for detecting facelike forms anyway.

Yah, in the still it looks very questionable. I think it looks more like him when I'm actually playing the video. Could even swear you see his head tilt slowly to the right every so slightly. But I'm also pretty good at getting all worked up over nothing haha Embarassed

And thank you, gintonico, for the still!

pay close attention in entry #4 because after my sister pointed it out there looks to be more than one slenderman. entity #1 is already posted in this section where it may be lighting causing us to see things but it looks like the creature/entity at a distance from alex. Entity#2 walks by him as he runs from the first one(so the one in the picture might be another creature/entity). Entity #'s 3 and 4 are in the distance if you stop the clip at 0:33 then again it may be lighting.

if someone could tell me how to take video clips and make stopframes of them i'd be glad to poitn them out
