I meant more that they could keep costs down with stuff like that but point taken.

Seems like a lot of what's been done here might have been contributed, simply because our PM knew the right people. Looking at his background, he sure does have a damn good set of connections to get things done.

As for doing this for "art's sake" and not a product, it too makes sense... Nobody would pull the antics the PM has and be so brazen with their player base if there was a customer involved; the customer wouldn't stand for it.

We did find evidence of a potential product with "She Stirs", but that evidence is two years old. Maybe times have changed.

from what I gather, it's not that times have changed...

We just have a series of events to unfold thta has been extensively thought out several years ago which is just now starting to bear fruit.

i would be happy with any reason...as long as there is an actual end to it at some point, and i really don't care how far away the end is

i lurk...i try to understand things...i fail at understanding most of it...but it is definitely keeping me actively entertained in a way that isn't mind-numbing

i'm starting to like this arg thing, even if i don't understand most of it

I find it interesting but I kinda feel that all players are mere spectators than players, just waiting and decoding messages...

Focus of Game

It seems odd to me that most progress has been made by combining intel from both sides, rather than following one side or the other.
Especially as all the info from the AT seems to be benefiting JJ the most!
Chaotic Fiction indeed... it's got me hooked! Surprised

Given everything that's happened so far, I'm a bit too scared to keep playing this, or even lurking, for that matter. I also feel like I'm taking a big risk saying this here. I mean, for all I know, Patrick might decide to have 4chan raid me like what was happened with that one guy.

Still, good production values.

Yeah, because this didn't just happen to a single person early in the game and everyone is in danger just by looking at this forum. Troll or not, you're fail both ways.

I stopped following JJ in all but the most minimal way days ago, but you have been trustworthy in the past AAT, so perhaps I will sit down tomorrow and catch myself back up. That and the mail we received from AD seems to have confirmed my suspicions about some things, and I am getting intrigued again.

Both IG and OOG I will not break anyones trust.

Integrity is my watchword for better or worse, regardless of consequence.

If PM holds his word, this will turn out very worthwhile, and hopefully quite fun.

"Didn't just happen to a single person?" Shocked Uh, excuse me, but I think one person is plenty enough to worry me and make me question the PM's motivations for the entire project. At the very least, it makes me question his ability to control his own game. I'm more than willing to give the PM the benefit of the doubt re: breaking the established rules because I'm not entirely sure that he intended that to happen, but, at the same time, it still makes me wary of even getting involved in the game because, intended or not, it happened.

Each of your posts, barring the very first one asking for 'hard and fast rules' has been a troll in some way. Saying you're 'afraid' of being attacked somehow even by lurking makes you either a) extremely paranoid or b) a troll, and both can be very quickly remedied by you closing your browser and not looking at the game anymore.

Edit: man my internet connection is fail today. Must be getting DDOSed by 4chan. Rolling Eyes

Sounds like YOUR the paranoid one. I'm not a troll, and I'm not going to look through all my posts at the moment, but I'm pretty sure none of 'em were spam/troll. I think you're just terrified by my low post count, end of story. Because, you know, no one new ever comes to Unforum. Unless they're out to get ya!

You're right in that any worries I have about Junko could be remedied by just not watching the game anymore, but what can I say? My curiosity is too piqued, and I want to see how this'll all end. There's a big difference between not involving any personal information in the game because the PM has proven to be less than trustworthy and just fleeing the internet altogether.

 IG, OOG, Defilers & Such

Having re-read some of the early posts, I get the impression that instead of attacking uF, JJ have been steering people to where the clues are at! And telling 4ch to deal with us also leads people from there to here, where they may get more clues... and so on! One of the early posts practically says "if you want to know more, go play with uF & MoT". So people who want to play an "in-crowd" game go to JJ, and those who want a puzzle-based, collaborative game join MoT... The personal attacks polarize us into sides, and off we go...

Or have I just been staring at the Magic Eye picture for too long... Laughing
