Having re-read some of the early posts, I get the impression that instead of attacking uF, JJ have been steering people to where the clues are at! And telling 4ch to deal with us also leads people from there to here, where they may get more clues... and so on! One of the early posts practically says "if you want to know more, go play with uF & MoT". So people who want to play an "in-crowd" game go to JJ, and those who want a puzzle-based, collaborative game join MoT... The personal attacks polarize us into sides, and off we go...
Or have I just been staring at the Magic Eye picture for too long...
No, no, that's a real possibility.

So do you think PM enlisted IRL soldiers/operatives to help out with this whole thing or what? From AAT's contact with Yuri, he seemed to know his stuff when it came to military operations.
Or is that stuff easily knowable with some reasearch?

The conflicts are easily researchable. He has friends in Russia who could have given him information. The information regarding the Chechen conflicts are common knowledge to damn near everyone sans America, since we really didn't care about the region until last year when Georgia and Russia were at it.
EDIT: The being a dick to ciivilians was the IG part that. He probably knows some RL soldiers and asked their views of civilians vs. military.
BTW, how he acted was very much like how militarys view civilians, esp. east-european ones. (first hand experiences with them, thankfully I'm military)

I just came to check in on this game out of curiosity because an online friend mentioned it.
Looks like nothing's changed -- big promises, big build up, no delivery.
I figured after being gone for so long that something would have manifested by now, but nothing has.
Anyone who sticks around to see this through and doesn't just live their real life (or play a real ARG) and wait for the end result to happen without them is a chump. Sorry.

You act as if we've all put our real lives on hold for this and that's just not the case. We find this interesting enough and are curious enough to stick with it. That doesn't mean we just sit around all day waiting for new developments.

Hey Jeff Jensen. Go get bent. Nobody wants to hear your little bitter whining.
(unless you'd like 4chan on your ass again, why not just leave?)

Oh none of this again, please. He was rude, aye, but we don't need any more fighting.

Hey now, the world does spin more easily on its axis when people are not getting all judgy-judgy about how others wish to play games, you know.
No one's bothering you now, so it might be time to repay the respect a bunch of us gave you when you were getting aggro from 4chan, eh? Live, let live, etc. etc. etc.

Listen up Jeffrey boy. You are full of it.
If you want all your personal details plastered on /b/, just keep it up.
We'd love to wreck you again, because nobody if more fun to toy with than a little baby.

Can I just state for the record that involving /b/ in any of this was a bad decision?

Fair statement. I retract the latter part of my earlier post.

Is any of those wonders that were promised to us by this ARG left?
