Okay I am sure it is something now! Look, I explore the map more and I find this icon on top of the 'Manhattan Psychiatric Center' right next to the first picture:

Click on it and some very small font says: "zna cebfcref guebhtu vagryyrpg, abg vafgvapgt". This has to be a game! Going to try cracking now...

Ok, there's another weird thing in this map.
Downloaded the KML file to open it in google earth, there's a placemark right in the middle of the Atlasov Island.

Hello again unFiction! Wow melka nice find how did you open in Google Earth?

Also that is a very tiny point, though i can see if zoomed out in Satellite view, white against blue ocean easy to see.

But I notice site made some changes this evening, added links at the top of page with home, contact, mission, links. Mission and links looks incomplete.

Also there is a new entry for 'Medicine Lake CA' and two new markers on the map. One in CO the other at Medicine Lake CA. Some very cool pictures, though i cant find any more ghosts

The quotes is very strange though...

If you look at the source of the page, there's this line :
var kml = new GGeoXml("http://www.aweblife.com/aweblife.kml");

So the KML file (the file containing all the markers and placemarks on the google map) is here :
http://www.aweblife.com/aweblife.kml

Loading this in Google Earth gives you a list of all the placemarks added.

I can't see anything else strange in the KML though.

While browsing around the photos on the journey... look at the top of this one, http://www.aweblife.com/img/lakepanorama.jpg
there are symbols up there. It's hard to tell where it starts and ends because the same sequence of symbols is repeated.

It's the Medicine Lake photo, enlarge it to full size, and look at the very top, up in the sky. I'll see if I can do something with it.

My 2 cents on the possible connection between this web site and imbeingfollowed (block of text) :
- We found a lot of images that were used for making the backgrounds on imbeingfollowed.
Example :
on aweblife :

on imbeingfollowed (first background, after some little photoshopping) :

And there's a whole lot like this.

- Second, the weird texts we found on aweblife all speak about instinct and such, and it's a recurring theme on imbeingfollowed too...

- Last, the hieros on panorama.gif are using the same "decoding" table as on imbeingfollowed...

What do I think of all this ?
My train of thoughts is not really clear, but to me, it seems that the guy behind aweblife is the "Him" PM (I'll call PM the guy behind imbeingfollowed) is trying to get away from.

PM talks a lot about ID. He seems to be the personalization of id (the mails we received comes from idSPLATimbeingfollowed.com, the css is called id.css, etc...).

The translation of the hieros on aweblife gives a quote from Freud, "where ID was, there ego shall be". For Freud :

Not that it is related in any way, but does anyone remember the start of that one arg (think it was for Blindness, the movie) where the pm asked people to submit a close up picture of their eye? Like this one http://www.aweblife.com/img/colo-1.jpg? That picture just reminded me of that.

Plus this quote from airplane marker near Colorado "I had a dream where I was blind. In it, I fell asleep on a couch and dreamed in color." added to the blindness vibe.

But honestly there has got to be nothing to it, just some early morning musings while looking at the markers.
