Happens, that Sevren infiltrated the chat and gave the codes with a little surprise for the Junsui. I'm sorry for Katia, she really seemed happy at the end when it all went black.

I assume Sevren obtained the info from the drop, reported it to the A-T/MoT guys and was instructed to go ahead with giving the codes to Katia, but altered so they either don't work or set off a system-wide alert or other such undesired effect.

This was the last triumph of Curcuas. These successes made him the hero of the moment, but his popularity alarmed the government and he was removed from his post. At that time Romanus Lecapenus fell, and in the next month his sons also were dethroned. Constantine Porphyrogenitus became sole emperor. It was the end of an era; new actors were strutting onto the stage.
