Hello, I'm new here but really enjoying this whole adventure. I did part I last weekend and went up to the park as soon as I could. This forum seems awesome and I'm so glad to see there are others just as excited for all of this.

I just finished part II and only have one burning question that I cannot seem to reconcile with things so far:
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
I called the Hip Hop Shoe Repair number listed on the transcript/map and listened through the whole thing. At the end they say to leave a detailed message asking a specific question. Nothing else points to what I should ask, or at least I don't believe so.

He hip hop shoe repair is just a rabbit hole. As far as I can remember you don't actually get anything from it. I think the map just shows you where the fliers said it was at. Like a land mark.

I saw a group of travelers getting lost at the fairy tree over the weekend. I tried to point them in the right direction, but I dunno if that helped.

Any thoughts on what should be done in these scenarios?

yeah the fairy tree was annoying because they don't explicitly say they're going to cross the street back to the side they came from after Peggy starts spacing out.

in think in those situations if you have the time to wait to see if they figure it out on their own (we did eventually) and if they really cant then point it out to them. you can be all cryptic and say something like 'hey did you see those big lamps? they look like little prisons, huh?' and walk away. or 'hey you guys should walk up a little further there's this really weird hop-scotch on the ground up there.'

Smile

At least at first, there was a spraypainted hobo glyph on the curb at the end of the island, pointing you to go to the left, and another on the far curb once you crossed over, indicating to turn right. It's very possible that someone could have had those removed, stranding people at that juncture.

I've helped people out before. Way back when, when the phone booth went missing and I went to go see, I ran into two participants struggling to make sense of Eddy's phone number (the last digit had been ripped off the paper sign thad had been there). Fortunately I still had it in my phone's history, so I was able to give them the right number to call.

!!!

That was us! Yeah, that part of the audio guide was a little vague, but thanks to you we eventually found our way. I think the most confusing part about that was the note indicating we look a certain direction that didn't seem to make sense to any of us.

got tooth?

After gathering all required supplies and enjoying the field recording, I came home to answer some questions on the EPWA, however...

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
when I got to the question of tooth origin, I entered every iteration of the name on the card that came with my tooth, and the EPWA claims not to have heard of any such tooth being accessioned. I'm not sure what I'm missing or doing wrong. Is anyone else having this problem?

Other than that, I'm having a blast! I love all of the thought that has gone into creating this experience. Bravo.

In regards to your problem:

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
The name of the Nonchalant whose tooth you have seems to be a way of checking that you completed the act yourself; ensuring that you didn't get the answers from another source. I accompanied friends through this act two weeks ago and they were out of teeth, so I'm guessing this is a new batch. It may be possible that the tooth you have is not yet in the system.

Hmm. Not sure that's it.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
I got my tooth a few months before I was able to return and follow young footsteps. EPWA still claims no knowledge of my poor former tooth owner. I wonder if my tooth could have expired, or is the result of some sinister Jejune infiltration. Perhaps I shall go get a new one and try again...

I just walked right past a group on 16th with a map and the boom box. I resisted the urge to say anything... but more importantly it looks like people are still working on Act II.

It seems like the CDs are definitely back, though the teeth are currently gone. I wonder how often they restock, as my friend is trying to work her way through.

Tooth

I had the same problem with the tooth question. It didn't recognize my answer. I was visiting SF and had to leave without finishing Act II even though I couldn't find anything else I had left to do.

Did anyone ever figure out the issue?
