Whew!

So, I finally finished Act III the other day and had a great time finding all the clues and enjoying the experience. My mind is continually blown by how well this thing is put together.

That being said, a couple things:
Spoiler (Rollover to View):

1) Those little dioramas on the Stone Wall at Coit simply floored me. I'm not sure if there were more pieces in them when the act started, but they all looked remarkably untouched and intact. Very cool.

2) During the interview with Neil at the end of the last track of the police interviews, one of the very last things said is: "well, we can detain him." And then the other guy says, "I'll put a call into Sextonfield." If you remember, the Dolores Park radio show stated that Octavio Coleman has gone by other names, such as Orlando Coolman and O.C. Sextonfield. Ya think Octavio came downtown and had his way with Neil? Hmmm?

3) After watching the last video on thelostmixtape.com, the message meetmeSPLATthelostmixtape.com is written on the tape. Is this the end of the act? I sent an email to that address, but I haven't received a response. Is an email necessary? Or was that simply foreshadowing about Eva's (presumably eventual) tape turning up later in the game?

4) Did you guys walk through the "Please Close Gate" fence, and head up to the little area overlooking the school like Tawny (or is it Chloe?) says she does on the tape? I went through the gate, but didn't find anything. At this point, Neil keep repeating, "what you don't see is wings," and I kept looking around thinking that was a clue for something. Perhaps I over-analyzed it.

5) The Soon Obsolete video being in the Cult section at Film Yard Video is a perfectly appropriate touch. Cool

My response to your point #2: :O

Let me repeat that: :O

I couldn't even make out what was said at that point when we were out in the field. Big ups to you, VonWolfgang, for catching that. You win for paying attention.

In regards to point #3: Yah, send an email. You may get a response sooner or later. Maybe sooner?

Maybe I'm just being impatient, but I never received a reply back to my email. Does it usually take more than two weeks? Is it a message that contains vital info to end Act III? I'm dying to know!

Oh man, this was awesome. Now I'm just left scratching my head:

Spoiler (Rollover to View):

1. I mailed meetme at thelostmixtape and received a response from Terrance almost immediately asking me for contact info (e.g. phone, address and such) but haven't heard anything back. It is a Sunday, so I'm thinking if JI is closed then it's likely the PMs are taking the day off in general. Should I be alarmed that they haven't contacted me, or just sit tight?
2. To be honest I haven't gone to the library to check out the journal in person, only skimmed through some of the pages on the .pdf's that were posted. I see CaptKing has said they are a must read, but the library won't be open for another week. Am I missing anything?

they'll need time to match you up with a date so don't worry if you don't get an immediate response after sending in your info, it will come eventually.

as for the journal it is something to be seen in person but it's not essential that you do so.

That was so cool! I love the savants and their badass dancing abilities. Also, I was struck by the fact that Act III was basically "Act III: Beautiful Views of San Francisco." And it was good.

Now to email the lost mix tape folks and set on to the next quest!

So excited

I don't think I could possibly be any more excited for what's next. I just wish I got better cell phone reception when strange parties called. This build up is killing me. Is there anyone else excited for next weekend?

the recent video looks like it happened fairly recently after the one before it. i doubt they'd keep poor Audrey in that bag for 4 months. i wonder why the delay in posting the video?

It took that long for Audrey to stop talking.
