Has anyone mentioned the sound right at the end of the video that either sounds like a "boop" or the beginning of a song?

After watching Entry 18, I think a J/totheark confrontation might have also taken place in "Exit". Totheark ran off in the same direction as J right before the video cut. What if he confronted J, but J was made to forget? Alex was in the forest for a long time while J was looking for batteries - it's possible that J lost a few hours of time/memory due to that confrontation.

Alex was still filming on his camera when J left - obviously it wasn't low on batteries. Alex may have sent J away on a ruse, and totheark may have kept him occupied while Alex met up with SM. If that's the case, maybe totheark had the same intent in Entry 18. Someone may have been interacting with SM, and totheark didn't want J interfering.

blast from the past, i know. but i have a new theory about this video. My deepest apologies if this is all old news. Trout away. Smile

we've explored the idea that the cameraman in this video is Alex. It makes logical sense, so although we don't have concrete "smoking gun" evidence, let's assume for the moment that it is Alex. What we haven't established is "why". In light of recent plot shifts, I have a theory.

Why would you film someone doing something without their knowledge? Logically, because you expect them to do something odd or incriminating (or at least you expect something odd to happen) and you want evidence of it without the person knowing it. We've established that the whole trip to the car might have been, in fact probably was, a ruse. So Alex expected or at least suspected that Jay might have done something odd. The logical target would've been the tapes. So Alex set a trap for Jay by mentioning that the tapes were there and Jay would have easy access to them and then taped his response. This indicates that Alex suspected that someone was messing with his tapes, or at least thought it was a possibility, and wanted to see if it was J, either because he had reason to suspect J, or because he was checking on all his friends. Of course it *wasn't* J, because J had no idea at that time what was going on.

Placing this in the timeline, this indicates that at some point in time Alex was A) aware that the tapes were being modified, B) did not think it was SM, C) had evidence, or was simply paranoid enough, to think that his friends were involved, but D) didn't know which one it was. To my mind, this means that either he had not met Slender Man yet, had forgotten about SM or been made to forget about him, or knew about SM but suspected that he/she/it had a human accomplice. Because, if not, he would have thought SM was doing it.

So, in a nutshell, my theory is that Alex became suspicious that someone (not SM) was modifying his tapes, and Exit is a trap set to see if it's J. Of course, Alex may have set this or a similar trap for *all* of the major players (and we're only seeing the J version), or he may have for some reason only done it with J.

You're a little more than a year late on this.

I just figured out that Alex was being seriously bugged by some tall guy. Have any of you noticed this?

Did anyone notice that the car Alex, Brian, and the unknown girl are in in Entry #7 is a red SUV? Now look at Alex's car in "Exit."

Yeah, it's a white convertible. It's hard to tell, but from the height of the camera off the road, the lack of beads hanging from the rear-view mirror, and the flash of hood at about 1:02 in Entry #2, I think Alex was driving the car parked in the lot of "Exit" in E#2.

It's possible Alex has two different cars, or perhaps the red SUV from E#7 is borrowed/rented for the shooting.

Also, Entry #9's cameraman... who is he? Apparently he helped Alex load stuff into his car. Maybe this clip is from the same day as E#9 and E#13?

I totally did not notice that. Though, what barring does it have on the plot, what car he used and when?

Entry #9's cameraman is Seth. Entry #13's is Alex.
