Having no earthly idea where to look for the authorization code, I just keep sending IRis questions:

Sequence.Matches.In.Dated.Archive: 26,367 //autosend//

So the Authorization code is available somewhere on something thats up right now, whether its a sunshine mine page, a craig page or CF. Lets find it...that narrows it down a LOT.

Okay, I'd say that, combined with what i found out, means we need to combine some numbers we've seen to make the passcode.

That's just the numbers backwards from 7.

So we are supposed to be looking for an authorization code for what? and I was wondering if there was anyway that anyone could get through to Fred Lol, What is he doing? If this is completely off topic just ignore it I'm running 24hrs no sleep...

Hey Tifa, Glad you decided to join us!

As far as the authorization code, I believe that it is either to resume or stop some sort of countdown for a selfdestruct/reset command for IRIS, that should help save Craig and Shanna.

Second, I never had any contact with Fred, did anyone ever contact him?

Also, here are a couple websites you should try to keep bookmarked:
http://www.sunshinemine15.com/
(The "rabbithole", so to speak, most of our updates come via this site)
http://craigandshanna.blogspot.com/
(Craig and Shanna's travel blog, now active again, two months after their death!)

In light of that, I think I should share what I've been working on.

A while ago, in the source code, we had some coordinates that we kinda seemed to forget about, while we went off on that tangent while we thought it was 14 different elements, rather than 14 different numerals.

I was looking back at those, on a hunch, and realized the coords (when manipulated slightly, using -121º rather than 121º)
Code:
37º 22' 20.38"
-121º 54' 40.01

led to an address, as whitecross noted:
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
1602 Crane Ct, San Jose, CA 95112, USA

Which, surprise surprise is the location of a Staybridge Suites (Which was the Hotel Key Card in the evidence picture)!

Hmm. So looking back at Craig's travel blog, I find some information that seems to back this up: He says they drive through to Bakersfield, and that they are "almost there". Then, the next post is titled: "In the Valley of the Big Boys", which I believe is a reference to Silicon Valley, which San Jose is the self proclaimed Capitol of, not to mention only being a short drive from Bakersfield.

So, I deduce from that, unless anyone else knows something i don't, that their final location was in the Staybridge Suites, in San Jose, where they died, and where Rogers is investigating their death.

The phone number for the hotel is (408) 436-1600, which I have tried submitting with the room number in various configurations, but have all returned with this:
Quote:
//ERROR//Entry.Format//ERROR//

And now we know the chucksum is 65, that is obviously not the right passcode...anyone have any ideas? I believe I'm at least on the right track, at least.

EDIT: I think I have it! The 800 number for the hotel + the room number's checksum is 65! Here's hoping this works...

Reference errors are most common when the question asked does not specifically relate to a defined data set. For example, if you were to Query your IRis by asking "Is it more blue than green?" - unless there is a particular data reference for the subject of the Query (in this example "it") you will receive a Reference.Error. In lowclass-speak one would say, "You confused the computer," or "You scrambled the poor girl."

Ask a stupid question...

I got confused as to timeline because of how my gmail box was, and asked a stupid question, before I figured out what was going on.

HOWEVER, It is nice to know that we can access a sort of Help file on errors, if necessary.

Threshold triggers are commonly used as perimeter settings in your IRis security suite. As Queries or Code entries near the maximum number allowed, IRis will activate the Threshold.Trigger sequence which will do two things:
(1) Automatically alert the IRis Security Department on planet, and
(2) Begin locking down the system peripherals in anticipation of an attempted intrusion.

The date from IRis back to you is correct because that is the date your Gmail received it.

The email looks like a bunch of help related info/snippets from across the internet. Maybe ask her HOW you can help?

Great work anyway, even if the authorization code didn't pan out! Hopefully this will be helpful later (or sooner!).

As a side note, I asked IRis a day or two ago if we were looking for a phone number and she returned "false"...
