what you see

if it's called whatyousee and reality is hidden within "what you see," then I'm guessing the answer lies "within" the picture. Either the image or the code.

I saw muddled, but don't know where to go from there. Where did you find "haven secured"?

Could be. I also wondered if the numbers in the title might be a code.

Hmn. Tried a simple alpha-numeric cipher on the numbers in the jpg's name (a=1.b=2, c= 3, etc.), and this is the result:

iqoazm

Have no idea if this is valid, or even pertinent.

Great minds think alike. I did the same and then decided it couldn't be anything. Even thought it might be an anagram...but don't get anything that way, either.

I also took some liberties with the picture in Photoshop. I didn't get anything out of the smoke, but when I turned the green tones all the way down, a picture emerged from the behind the weird smoke.....it's still not totally clear, but check it out:

I also tried to see if the numbers could spell out a word on a telephone keyboard. Interestingly enough, while they don't, there are enough digits to create a telephone number. 917 is a New York area code; specifically

"Area code 917 is a New York City telephone area code. It is the standard cellular/pager/voicemail phone area code for all of the city's boroughs and is an overlay to 212, 347, 646 and 718. Occasionally, 917 is also assigned to landlines (most commonly in Manhattan, due in large part to the sparse availability of area code 212). Area codes 646 (for Manhattan), 718 and 347 (for Brooklyn, Queens, the Bronx, and Staten Island) are increasingly being assigned to cellular/pager/voicemail numbers as well."

--According to Wikipedia.

Now, I'm not saying we all call the number, if at all, as I'm sure the gms didn't mean for some random New Yorker to get crazy fans calling for Siegfreid, but it's an idea.

Maybe open it in photoshop if anyone has it?

It looks like a stamp? Is it someone famous? What's in the picture - smoke, a stamp, paint smudges... I got nothing.

ozmaqi and whatyousee.png. Hm.

Wow, it certainly got more challenging.

I didn't even notice the resemblance to a stamp, but see it now. I thought it looked like a portrait of Jesus. Hmmm....

Maybe if you played with the other color levels- the reds and yellows- there might be something more?

Discovery!

Played with color saturation. Bottom right corner there is a profile. Looks like a stamp of royalty.
