EDIT: Quick bit of research shows you pin a butterfly and freeze it, leave it to set and that does the job apparantly.

No IRC yet by the way, feel free to create and post it up.

Also, just noticed that te kidnaps correlate with the date of the first excorcism, september 4th.

But he's not preserving insects he preserving humans

 		Speculation speculation. Jager, I htink you are on the right track with storyline. I am just wondering when he is gonna be updating again. I wish I could pin down his schedule. He seems to start around 1 for EST but im not sure.

@Christlez, she is calling them flowers. She is saying that SHE is the butterfly and she is drawn to the flowers.

There is an usagi20 posting in this thread...I'm assuming it's her/him. What about a friend suggestion that keeps popping up for me: Anno Nym, whose only friend is Kuroi? Is that one of you?

 		Aha, that would make sense! And that's me, I have all my friends set to private so it would probably only show Kuroi.

where oh where do the butterfly's go.. to visit a flower to insure that it grows... but the winter is coming so the butterflies must go... a single flower alone in the cold..

 		Everything on the list makes sense, except one thing.

Apples, Bread, Milk, and Eggs - food. A man's gotta eat.

Hammer and Nails - Could go back to the crucifixion theory. Could NOT be used to do anything with the Plexiglas, because if that stuff is bulletproof, I doubt you'll be driving a nail through it.

Nylon Thread and Sewing Needle - suturing? All I can really think up.

Skinning Knife - Removing the tattoo? God knows the man has an issue with tattoos.

Paper Towels - cleanup from the tattoo removal?

Rope - Keep her bound.

Plexiglas - Creating some sort of coffin (I'm with jeager on this one). Most likley using the sealant to hold it all together.

Rock Salt - preservation of a corpse?

Strong Lace. This is where I'm stuck. Why strong lace? Any ideas?

 		I should mention that I'm pretty sure Kuroi tried to call me last night...the phone rang a few times, but the cordless was dead, and the main phone was in a dark room I couldn't navigate before the caller hung up. Later I noticed she'd sent me a Facebook message:

By the way, at that time my phone numbers were freely available on my profile to people on my friends list only, so that's how she probably got my number (assuming it is her that called, but given the message she sent, it's a pretty good bet), but I have since removed them. I don't necessarily mind getting ARG-related calls, but this incident of having a stranger call me has made me decide that, since I do now regularly allow ARG-related folks I've never met onto my friends list, having my personal info right out there in the open maybe isn't such a hot idea in terms of protecting myself. (I suppose I could create an ARG-only Facebook profile, but maintaining two separate profiles seems like too much work for me Razz.)

Anyways, when I saw her online-but-idle in Facebook chat tonight, I decided to give chatting with her a shot. Here is our conversation, with a little bit of emphasis added by me...apparently I am her "orchid" now, heh Smile.

So...perhaps we [and by "we" I mean you guys, since I've been busy with school and such] are on the right track to finding out the next step, but not quite there.

Edit: If you are curious about the message I told her I'd sent, it was just a poetic explanation at why the "connection" didn't go through, and that she seems to be active when I need to do last-minute lesson planning and then crashing into bed:

I sent that early this morning, before going to work; the message I was referring to in my chat with her was actually just prose explaining that I didn't want to take it personally, but why I was taking my phone #s off my profile. I think that is what she apologized for in our chat, but I didn't want her to feel badly about it...while I think a call related to this creepy-ish ARG would freak me out a little, it would be kind of cool to get a, uh, non-creepy ARG call...it is only for security reasons that I don't want my phone #s out there for anyone on Facebook to see anymore.
