A strappado is a torture device where you're hung by your hands which are tied behind your back. Sounds painful!

Maybe the girl in the wanted poster is the final victim who we're saving. But he must have a new way of containing these victims.

Theory time, I think he may try to trap the 'demon' inside himself unless he has found a better way of containing it.

Well she flat out told me he works with antiques, I'm thinking you were right to ask if he was a curator. Exhibit, that's the key word for his occupation. Maybe it's related to his faith and the antiques somehow? What religious place would have exhibits?

I tried to ask if we could find him at work but no luck, she left before answering.

To be honest....I'm flummoxed.

Religious path....strappado.....met in a park.....while he was working.

Ideas so far i think are on the right path - Some kind of museum worker (maybe in a theological museum?), but being a pastor or something similar is not out of the question. I've got pastors in my family and they are always transferring to a new Parrish or something.

Honestly, I'm grasping at straws. But I figure the more we can discuss and discount, the narrow our search is going to become.

I'm sorry guys, I got something out of a conbersation with Kuroi last night but my connection got cut right in the middle! Grrrrr! Anywyay, it's about his job, she elaborated a little more but I couldn't finisht the chat like I said so this is all I got.

Items of the lord's work seems sounds like objects of religious significance, but "methods that were used" and the inclusion of a strappado in his collection seems to indicate it's more likely torture devices used for the inquisition, witch trials, etc. He bought and collected the items himself, but was paid to display them and was gone for long periods of time.
So either a showcase of historic torture devices, or some sort of bdsm show?

Edit: I just noticed in journal2 that he says the girls were interested in his "Salem" items so presumably he collects items from the Salem witch trials.
