Did/Can anyone check the gas stations today and see if they've updated the drop location for tomorrow? I checked yesterday morning, and it was still showing NY. I am unable to check today as I'm at work during the timeframe the messages are being displayed.

Charlie's latest tweet confirmed that it is the Chicago location from 1-3 PM. Didn't list the password, but I mean what else would it be besides 2012, lol.

I just checked on my way home from work today, and my gas station (in Mountain View, CA) did have the Chicago location, the time 1-3pm, and the same password 2012. Good Luck!

btw, i just wanted to rant about how poorly designed the screens are. Compared to the adverts for CBS shows and Shell discount cards, with their large bold fonts and bright colors, it is obvious that the IHC designed their screen as if it were being viewed on a webpage up close on a computer monitor. The fonts were tiny, the contrast was blue on black, and the trailer itself was dark. The only thing that caught my eye (and the eye of any customer not specifically looking for a message) was the section with Charlie Frost -- bold and bright. Add in the fact that I am short, the TV screens are mounted high above the pumps, the glare from the sun, plus the need to view directly head-on rather than at any angle, and you have to assume no casual viewer is going to see this campaign. I really thought all of the screens were dead when I first pulled into the station today. I had to pull my car up to a pump and stand on the running board with my door open to read the text. Epic fail.

I forgot to look for the url at the bottom, whether they ever fixed the link to aftertheihc.com/help

Just got back from the Chicago drop. Got there at 1:30 pm, and I was told I was the first one there.

There were about 10 packages on the table.

The package contained the usual phone/accessories, the new diagram printout and thumbdrive. No card.

Here's the new confidential memo:

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
RE: Project Naaczaal

Status Briefing October Ten

Small scale prototyping and complete testing of propulsion system have been performed and are a complete success.

Original designs have overperformed predictions significantly, and as a result the full scale build blueprints will be adjusted to occupy a smaller footprint in the craft.

As cargo space is both limited and highly valuable, we have used this opportunity to expand the cargo bays.

Redesigned schematics should be available in the next few weeks.

More complete provisioning and increased sustainable duration for the life support systems are anicipated as a result.

Funding levels are significantly behind target levels. The scope and completion of the project are in jeopardy if this continues.
Management is assessing methods to ensure construction continues uninterrupted.

All staff please note that this overview is eyes only and should be deleted after reading.

thanks, I don't do it for personal glory, so giving Unfiction credit is my reward -- but if you must use my name, please use lowercase. (i'm catherwood; Catherwood is an author somewhere, or the butler in a Nick Danger story)

(returning the next day to add this rather than double-post):
I happened to be driving past one of my gas stations this morning, so I stopped to view today's message. It does confirm the San Diego info.

(The Comic Gallery)
4224 Balboa Ave
San Diego CA 92117
1pm-3pm
Monday, 10/12
Codeword: 2012

and yes, they still are displaying that url which doesn't work.

Thanks for confirming. I'll pick up the package as soon as they're ready to hand them out =)

As an aside, what does your phone(s) from the drop look like? I have a Nokia (looked it up and it's a Nokia 1661). The main screen is blank except for the signal strength and time at the top, and menu button labels at the bottom.

How do you find out what your number is? I've been looking through the menus and haven't found it.

Maybe try calling another phone you have that has caller ID on it? You don't have to answer the call so you shouldn't waste any minutes.
