Okay, so if the system tomorrow is fixed. Then, everyone be at your location at 250pm gearing up for 3 o"clock. We know it will be the tv's above the pumps that will show the trailers and give the info. I just hope there are more "parties" than just the one in los Angeles.

Here is my spec. On corruption theory he got the info about project naaczaal at a comic book store. probably these 100 sites will just give us comic book stores addresses and at each one there will be a number of coded messages. probably all of these coded messages will give us sites to be at "to be lifted" and saved by going to outer space during the event, in other words seeing a the movie for free the week it comes out. just my guess. The dark knight viral ended with a way for people to see the movie early and for free on imax thinking this one might do the same. and Please if for some reason one of the t.v.s displays a utah location PLEASE post it here for me.

Yeah, that is what I was thinking too, I just hope that each location gets it adresss etc. If not, and everyone gets a random one, that they post the adresses since there are only 5 comic shops in AZ that are worth going to, and 4 of them are part of local chains. Report all adresses and info tomorrow.

yeah i am really hoping that my spec is right and that they follow 1 other thing that the dark knight did have a screening in utah. not to sound bitter but the dark knight did 2 things in utah, the screening and one of the bowling balls and due to circumstances beyond my control i was unable to even think about getting in on either of those, day late and a dollar shor t you might say. other than that i have never seen an arg do participation stuff in utah, I mean come on we had the olympics salt lake city is a big city. anyway sorry just blowing off some steam.
oh and p.s. vote for me DAVID W!!! lol

Back from the Roswell GA location. It was working this time... looks like they just took over the entire show as it was playing nonstop. The message is the same one reported yesterday, with the Los Angeles location.

Great to see they had it working. Looks like this means the first drop will simply be a single one in Los Angeles. Anyone out there going to be able to get it?

A new message should appear tomorrow morning and Tuesday afternoon, probably for a single second location. My money is on New York. While I was hopeful that the 15 cities might each get their own drop they won't all have one at the same time. If they do 14 more of these then each city might get a turn at a document drop... or they might not.

There was also a URL at the end of the clue, but it doesn't seem to be working... it takes you to a "page not found" on Ulfert's blog

yep, it worked great, got a whole trailer this time. Also my address was also the Los Angeles one (I am in Phoenix). I am guessing you are also right about new info tomorrow. but it will be for one more party, which should be on wednesday. I think they will have to notify us of other drops another way since going back and forth to the gas station is kind of redundant. (especially since we got the same message today) Any other people get something different.

Looks like gdesignr covered everything I was typing after coming back from a San Diego station... the same LA address, the same url, and the same spec about a New York "party".

Here are some pics of a greasy gas station screen:

What I really hope for is that we all get our own little "parties". it would really suck for all of us this weekend go to the locations and see the California address, only to not be able to go.

Per strifey in chat-

The address for Wednesday's event is 840 Broadway, New York, NY 10003. Which is the home of Forbidden Planet, a comic book store. 1:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. Password is 2012. Wear your tinfoil hat.

I was hoping there would be more, but I guess that the entire country went on an information chase. Only to find out the adresses of two parties that 95% percent of those cannot attend. I was hoping for more local parties.

On my way into work this morning, I happened to be filling up with gas at a Texaco, and I saw the video running, noticed the url for THEIHC.com and the password 2012.

Seemed ARGish so I came here to unforum to see if it was an established game, now I see it definitely is.

I just finished scanning through the trailhead and topic (2 hrs of reading) only to realize I may be too late to get back over there to see if a new address is listed. I am leaving now.

BTW - It was in West Chicago, IL

[EDIT]

Hit up the Shell at 106. NW HWY in Barrington, IL.

Message was the same address time and password for Forbidden Planet in New York

(840 Broadway, New York, NY 10003)

I am about 95% sure I will be taking the train in from Trenton to Penn Station and hitting up the NYC event. If anyone else is going, PLEASE let me know, i'm thinking food afterwards? a mini-arg meet up? Smile
