If it's another ciphered message, I would love to be able to crack the code.

Haha, forgot the time difference. It hasn't even started yet.

And that's great. Keep us informed!

I am about 95% sure I will be taking the train in from Trenton to Penn Station and hitting up the NYC event. If anyone else is going, PLEASE let me know, i'm thinking food afterwards? a mini-arg meet up? Smile
Sadly, i won't be going, but if any of you going to the NYC event get some swag, PLEASE let me know (IF you're willing to share; otherwise, i won't really ask for swag from now on), cause i'd LOVE to have some!

Just got back to the office! There was a chick sitting at a table who handed me a padded manila envelope when I said I was there for the IHC. Inside is a cell phone, charger, memory stick, 3 sheets of plans for a building, and a card with instructions for the phone (i.e.- keep it charged and don't use it for personal reasons). I'll take photos of everything and upload it soon.

There was a stack of envelopes too so there were plenty and not a lot of people showed up. Ran into some guys outside who were waiting for a friend to show up and had gotten theirs. Hopefully more will show up in NYC.

See now I am a little pissed. that is some for 1 cool swag and 2 an awesome way to get involved. But why would they only do 2 cities, and give over 150 locations to watch and get an adress to party you know you can't attend. I will pay for shipping if anyone gets an extra envelope in NYC to participate here in AZ. All those locations to give an adress for a party that 98% cannot attend. WOW!

I agree that it sucks for you guys. Good thing about being in L.A. is that there are lots of drops, bad thing is often there is more competition to get to it if there's only one thing dropped.

They probably had the video locations in places they could easily pay for the advertisement and the drop locations near their offices where they could easily make an intern hang out for a few hours. Maybe trying to save money? Who knows.

As for acquiring extra envelopes, good luck. Although there were clearly extra she didn't offer me one even though I told her ineffabelle was on her way and would get there after three. She offered instead to leave it at the counter and have the comic book store people give it to her.

Hey faeryqueen21 I was the guy you saw at the drop off. We were the first ones there and you were the last. It does suck that all those packages(about 8 more) were left over. By the way i was the one with the hat.

It was funny cuz we went in so quick and told them the code that the guys recording wernt ready so they asked us to go out and come back in and act the same way hahah that was embarrasing.

oh and heres the pics that were on the flash drive. These photos also came in the package.

The ads were broadcast on PumpTop TV, which specifically covers all of those markets. The PMs may have been limited in how widespread their 'parties' could be... if so, this was at least a way to allow people elsewhere to participate. Games aren't always about free stuff!

And remember, in addition to giving the location info the ads ran trailers which were seen in all these markets by thousands of people who were just passing through for gas. It is about drawing attention to the movie and the game, after all.

I for one think this was the coolest method of dispersing information I've seen in a while. Kudos to the PMs for creativity.

You are of course, right - however, this does not stop the jealousy Very Happy

Hoping for more drops and/or game info from the LA and NYC drops!

Also - those of you who have received or will receive info need to send that stuff to Soren Ulfert and Corruption Theory as soon as you can! Poor guy's gonna have a heart attack from caffeine overdose if you don't get info to him soon Very Happy
