I put up a google doc here, using the Walt Whitman quotes Grayson Ozias has twittered thus far. I've come up with DBKW which will ROT to USBN or TRAM. Although one set is BBBBB, and not a Bacon letter, perhaps it's a space? It does directly follow the first four Bacon letters.

Wow - thanks! Can you grant permission to view the document, or do you want us to request permission individually?

I'd just like to say how much I enjoy the "connect with Facebook" button that this game and the Butterfinger one carry It's extremely nice not to have to sign up a billion times for a billion different ARGs and I hope that others will follow.

"A Sir Cages"

I understand the possible connection between "a sir" and Francis Bacon, but how does "cages" fit into the clue that a Baconian cipher might be in the offing?

Enaxor, I admire your work! I've been wondering how or if those Whitman quotes will come into play. But I'm not quite sold on the idea of "A SIR CAGES", because...well, yeah... cages?? Smile

I've been toying with this idea.
If the "N" on the back side of the washboard is included; the one next to the "I", then RCAGES ASIN might be CAESAR SIGN; maybe alluded to an upcoming use of the Caesar cipher.

For others just following along on uF, here are links to the images from clue 4.

http://goforth.levi.com/images/fortune/clues/lightbox_2.jpg the line under the "I" seems to stretch faintly to the "N".

I must say, I'm throughly enjoying the story told in this game. I can hardly wait for Grayson's next honey toned adventure!

driz, I like the idea of anagramming to CAESAR, the left over letters IGS will Rot (Caesar) to USE: USE CAESAR? Either way with or without the N, as you said it could be alluding to an upcoming Caesar Cipher.

Here's another one of my crazy ideas. If we include the 2 "O"s actually underlined on the real washboard (and the "N"), we almost get a kind of homophonic word play of our main character's name, Grayson Ozias ... GRACE SON OSIA . lol

Wait, wait.. I'VE GOT IT!! Forget the O's and the N, and anagram the "real" letters like this: "GR IS CASE A" (GR for Grayson, of course). Then read each "word" backwards, and you get "RG SI ESAC A", which could be a simple substitution cipher for "PLAYFAIR I". Not bad, eh?

How about this? If we move our "S" Wink we get... GRACE ON OSIAS. lol

Yeah, it gets real interesting, especially in the discussion on the Go Forth site, when it's been two days since the last clue and there's nothing really happening. Smile
