[PUZZLE]"Missing Organs" Are the numbers a puzzle?

Remember in Resident Evil when you had to arrange the human organs in a certain order to get a secret code? Does this sound similar?

Of particular note is the list of the affected animals: cows missing liver (3); cows missing spleen (2); horses missing heart (1); pigs missing kidney (4); pigs missing liver (2); sheep missing kidney (2); sheep missing spleen (2).

So is there a puzzle here? Are your you going to say, "LOL, I don't think there's anything there."

i noted (in chat) that the sum of the organs matches the sum of the animals:

Code:
animals missing parts:
------ | livers | hearts | kidney | spleens | TOTALS
cows   |    3   |   (0)  |   (0)  |    2    | = 5
horses |   (0)  |    1   |   (0)  |   (0)   | = 1
pigs   |    2   |   (0)  |    4   |   (0)   | = 6
sheep  |   (0)  |   (0)  |    2   |    2    | = 4
------ | ------ | ------ | ------ | ------- | ------
TOTALS .    5   .    1    .    6   .    4   .

16 organs and 16 animals, but they could have been distributed any number of ways. I suspect that the Matrix is stuck on this set of numbers for some reason. (The 4 digits could be parsed in any order, not just 5-1-6-4.)

because each missing organ is linked with an animal.

a cow is missing a liver
a cow is missing a heart
a cow is missing a spleen

3 organs, 3 cows. hardly suprising.

the only difference would be if a cow was missing a liver and a spleen. It isn't really possible to determine this from the article as far as I can tell, but I will look at it again. I suggest focussing closer on the numbers themselves.

Why not? An organ for every sheep, horse, pig and cow in Bordeaux. That sounds exactly like the thinking of a machine to me. -whomp-
