the whole slenderman story originated at something awful forums, like it seems.

After reading through their posts over there... seems it just kinda evolved from a basic idea. There was nothing mentioned about it becoming arg.. (unless it was somewhere on the last 4 pages or so). It's more like they are trying to "create" a myth. Like bigfoot or something. But with all this attention, who knows, maybe they will take it further, and make a very good game of it. They seem to have plenty of material and people to do it with. There was talk there of a site to be made called slenderman.org... so I guess we'll wait and see what happens.

Stacy Lenderman is probably not related to it. Her name just happens to shorten to slenderman.

I'm guessing that the paranormal thing may be true, but at the same time Alex may have taken the sound out of the tapes. I'm leaning more towards that, because if it were paranormal interference there would at least be white noise or some kind of static.

The creepy man kinda reminds me of the 4-chan's anonymous. o_o;;
