Could the text from the mp3 on Littleboxes with the name Dina, be the same Dina N, Chicago who has put a little spiel on Leiphe under partners?

 		hmmm... combining this with Katherine's plans of ridding Beth of her family, and dog... lessons.html seems pretty important to me for some reason.

i've believed for a while that leiphe was beth's mom, the evidence just stacked up that way. but the one thing that bothered me was the fact that beth and her mom lived in the same town (based on their ability to meet for lunch) while leiphe lived in arizona:

This eliminates arizona as her current location (if i know arizona, which i don't) and certainly makes redland, WA a possibility (among, I know, about a million other places).

so leiphe could be in redland, and therefore potentially could be beth's mom.

but (given all the above, so take the following with about the largest grain of salt you can find) this leads me to the next question:
why is leiphe in redland?

this is what we know:
    1) it's not a social visit, otherwise she'd be spending more time with beth than just lunch.
    2) it must be pretty important, since she cancelled a speaking engagement with wongmo ("you ask - i reply with a vague piece of frilly sweetness")
    3) given her apparent tendency to create "lessons" based on her (or at least beth's) life, it's possible that she recently moved. From "lessons learned", Sept 13:

now, based on nothing other than inference and conjecture, and the poorly though-out reasoning above, here are my hypotheses:
    1) leiphe moved to redland
    2) she did not move there for beth (beth was doing great before 10/1, i just don't see any reason for it)
    3) (and here's where the straight talking-outta-my-butt happens) her move is because of a job, and that job has something to do with the changes in Metacortex (steve walsh was hired Aug 22)

Beths age is about right, but "Fiona bore Pete four beautiful children" seems to conflict with

That struck me too. And "In all music, there is this sense of communicating." is all too convenient. Wink

One thing I don't get though, in her bit Dina says "...but I also jones for new music that is lyrically rich and and complicated."

Has anyone heard the phrase "I jones for..." before?

And is the dual 'and' a typo?

Yeah, well sorta, maybe not the exact context, but I've heard it as: a heroin addict who can't score will be jonesing for a fix..

or: I'm really jonesing for a smoke

loosely means crave, typically used for fiening (sp? fiending?)

Good pic, marl. That being said, there's something going on re:leiphe and beth. there's too many parallels.

sudden thought: could no other family mean no other family in redland?
or am i reaching in a lame attempt to protect my theories?

Doesn't the whole idea of web-based journaling seem like an attempt to communicate secret messages?
Is Leiphe trying to meet secretly with Dina? (is Dina the missing person)?
Leiphe asks:

 		I feel that leiphe map idea is going to be cruical. The idea of piecing pictures together would make sense giving the non-sense pics we've been given lately.

 		Apparently Dina is participating in Leiphe's 'program'. I was hoping to find some of her work (like her Leiphe Map) on her website (thenekodas.com), but unfortunately there are no /leiphe and /leiphemap directories there.

Maybe someone else can find something down this train of though though....
