 		Random realization
just to keep some chatter going
So the "Daily Bath" entry always perplexed me. I mean, it was funny, sure, but I felt like I was missing out on a bigger joke.

Well, I was.

Today during random internet travels, I stumbled upon DailyBooth.com.
It's apparently a "photo-blogging" site where 16 year old cam-whores just post pictures of themselves trying to look sexy because they have nothing of interest to actually say. tl;dr - it's twitter

Now, maybe I was the only one who wasn't aware of this site's existence and I look like a asshat for just now getting the joke 6 months later, but I figured I'd post this invaluable nugget of info for anyone else who was as confused as me.

By the by, I got a little stoked at first thinking a "photo-blog" would totally be something HS could take advantage of, but after spending a half hour searching for every HS-related user name I could think of, I came up with nothing. Feel free to try yourself, though.

Hello everybody. Just thought I'd drop a line and introduce myself. I just discovered hatshoe.org yesterday and I've already managed to spend way to much time on this forum reading about how things have unfolded over the past two years. Pretty, pretty nuts. I emailed HS last night, but I'm still awaiting a reply; I'll keep you all posted once one is received. I'm looking forward to putting my mindgrapes to the test with all of you fine, fine heroes of the internet.

 		what does everyone think acquired says? The last part seems to say "More to come soon" the first part might "I don't think I know "...and then it trails off

 		When I look at it for too long, it seems like it says "I don't know who that person is. They are not people. More to come soon."
The "is" is super blurred and super faint at the end. I don't know. My brain could be inventing dark spots just to make a coherent sentence.

Okay, remember when we did the whole coffee thing and he sent this picture?

And then we were trying to figure out the orientation of the picture itself and what we were looking at? And I said this:

I've been looking at the picture with the index, and it seems obvious that the reflection is some sort of overhead lighting (most likely fluorescent light). I was thinking that it could be the overhead light seen the entry "apt." It seems that if there were two separate light sources, they're placed too close together. I think that it is a single overhead fluorescent light, with something running down the middle to block out some of the light. If somebody were to take a picture of a shiny, black surface directly under a very bright fluorescent light, I imagine the brightness would wash out the picture; one would need to block out some of that annoying light. Does this make any sense?

as the coffee thing was a sort of spur of the moment thing, i'm a little dubious as to the import of the light. it could be a reflected window with the curtains mostly closed (slightly more tightly closed on our right.)

i'm on spanish at the moment. don't recall if we've been through this before or not: like and not like picasso's guernica and dali's soft construction with boiled beans. also there was a faction of carlists. also, it seems i've been to the wikipedia page on the battle of ebro before, but i can't recall if it's hatshoe connected or not.

 		@Knucklehead - Yeah, I'm sure you're right about the light. I'm sure it's not important at all (which is why I'm going to quietly keep believing it's the light from apt...just cuz it makes everything creepier for me and i like being creeped out...)

What's weird is that I've been coming back to "Spanish" as well. It inspired me to send him this last night:

If you guys felt like it, we could try another "coffee" attack...see if he actually responds if we all send our own version of it.
I would be very interested to know who (or what) his last conversation was with and how it went.
Post here if you try it, I guess.

Hey everyone. Sorry I've been in lurk mode for a while. I sent HS a couple messages but haven't heard anything back. Otherwise I would have posted.
I like the Coffee Attack idea since that's the only thing I've ever actully contributed to any of this so here's what I sent him.
Subject was "CHALLENGE!!!!". Body was "En garde!"

I also noticed that he posted the Craigslist ad on the 29th of last month. I think ads disappear after 30 days so that would be Monday I think.

In frisbee, he says "that's what I get for imitating my heroes" is that a reference to a movie? a comic? Does anyone remember a film where someone tries to block a projectile with two swords? The only thing I can remember is Robin Hood Men In Tights.....Also, he says he "hides codes within codes" perhaps the titles of the...works, reference to other titles and content within said titles....don't know if this has been said before, I'm still trying to read through the forum posts
