Introduction Hey all. Just wanted to say hi and I'm on board.
Airport I was talking to you on x a couple nights ago. I'm still working on getting caught up with this thread, but I've read the site. More intrigued than ever.

hey wayconresu. glad to have you on board.
sorry that the thread on /x wasn't more helpful.
thanks for staying interested even after its inevitable spiral into "f*ggot op n-bomb derp etc".
have you sent an introductory letter to hs yet? if so, be sure to keep us updated. things have been pretty slow lately so hopefully you won't become too frustrated/disinterested. i know i say it all the time here, but i feel like we're on the verge of something big.
anyway...thanks again!
oh and goingup/knucklehead...awesome challenge drawings! i was really hoping these would get something out of him. i dunno. it was worth a shot i guess. thanks for taking the time.

Thanks guys. Yeah, AD, I did send an introductory relating to what I had discussed with you briefly in the other thread. I haven't heard back yet, alas. You all will be the first to know if I do.

@wayconresu - rad
@knucklehead - i think the "ghost whisperer" angle was brought up briefly a while back but dismissed due to the show being generally pretty schlocky. but you never know, i suppose. i mean, there is an entry called "whisperer" as well.
hmm....
Dudes...if hatshoe.org turns out to be the world's most elaborate "Ghost Whisperer" Fan-Fiction, you'll make a suicide pact with me, right?

Sorry this is so late, everybody. I sent this to HS a little while ago. I still haven't heard anything back since my initial email. Here to hoping this works.
P.S. Paying bills really is for the birds.

New entry hatshoe.org/husband.html
in the source code: " Husband substance, French "
i'm currently trying every french cheese in alphabetical order.
edit: nothing fancy, just "brie"
hatshoe.org/brie.html
i think this is FINALLY going back to the "hamburg/hamburger" clue.
seems like we're looking for an alternate regional spelling of something like hamburger, frankfurter, etc.
that's just my thinking though. don't get caught in it.
also, new source code message on index:
"There's a hair on the side that got trapped there. It's free now, I think."
(before anyone goes nuts on this, i'm pretty sure it's just referencing the hair on the left hand side of the scanned index.)

@AD
It seemed to me like he was looking for an alternate spelling of Brie.
Weird thing is, though, that Brie is spelled the same in most languages.
I sent him an email about it.
We'll see, hopefully. I haven't gotten an email from him since Feb 26.
I hope I didn't piss him off.

Random thought.
Brie mentions 7 people by the first letter of their name.
7 letters in Hatshoe.
It also notes that someone named "A" goes by "S"...or the other way around.
So if these seven people are working for an organization, perhaps they have "codenames"...the first letters of which spell "hatshoe".
Like a squad or something.
Just a thought.
@schteevo - i can see that. hopefully we'll find out soon. i've tried everything else i can think of. i thought for sure the "gretchen" was pointing us towards germany. i dunno. i think we should stay on him about it though and not let it fade away like so many of the other "clues".

AD how did you find husband? I don't see it on the index anywhere...
So FSP and M must be
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Frodo, Sam, Pippin, and Merry. They met Aragorn(Strider) at the Prancing Pony in Bree. So that gives us http://hatshoe.org/bree.html . G and T must Gandalf and.. Theodin? I don't know, not having read the Silmarillion.
Don't know if I was supposed to spoiler.. did you guys find that already?

Holy shit! Amazing solve wayconresu!
Once again, I feel like an idiot for looking at it completely wrong. So dismiss my above post. (I'm also losing nerd cred for not seeing an obvious lotr reference)
"Husband" is to the right of frisbee. It's kind of small.
Bree also puts thereisnoeincobain.jpg in perspective...
Wow. So yeah. Man...what now?
edit:
p.s. - you don't have to spoiler but you can if you want. it does make everything more dramatic...

bree I'm reading, and re-reading the bree post. Help me out, does it say "Three weeks later we killed two of the three, and the wrong traitor of our group was dead too "?

That's exactly how I read it.
I apologize for being so brief but there's a million thoughts running through my head concerning this page and I hesitate to needlessly expound and muck up the theories of others.
Man...it's seriously getting good, isn't it?

husband added to index the index has been updated to include the word husband where the link is. he's relatively active right now, and my impression is (on a wild guess of a hunch from the previous slogs through this forum's archive) that september might be a good month for shoein'.
are there any other invisible links on the index? has 'husband' been there since the update?
