Just what all these cryptic messages of 'You're the closest' and 'I'll take note of your perseverance' were references to him making a choice of who will be his successor or reviver or whatever he's choosing. It's not that major really, but it's the first almost straight answer we've had from the guy directly and I get a bit over excited sometimes Embarassed

So, apparently on the twowithout? page, this is there? ""The head just ended

The eyes are what gave the whole thing away. It was like they weren't even part of the face.

I do not remember seeing a (mouth?)

There was something about the neck""

I was thinking about what the hell that may have been describing, and I remember the idea of werewolves was brought up earlier in the thread, but to me it sounds more like a vampire. Vampires are sometimes portrayed with red eyes, that wouldn't seem like part of a face in the dark, and if whoever/whatever was bent, drinking from a neck, as mentioned, than the head would just "end". And if the mouth was otherwise preoccupied, like drinking blood, you wouldn't see that either.

Sorry if that's totally off base and fail, I've just been thinking along the supernatural train of thought since we brought up werewolves. XD

While looking for more numbers in the bottom-left corner, I found a 2 on recipe.jpg. It's not there on recipetrue.jpg. It's right above 7.

I don't think I've ever been right about anything before in my life Very Happy .
Check that off my bucket list Cool .

So, I was reading through the twowithout page and the last paragraph hit me like a brick. The recipe is for a device that will free you from being stuck on a linear path through time or "rid the body of all temporal restrictions" but in the last paragraph he says that if you come back to the "that place" (i assume he means that place in time) that you won't be able to integrate with yourself. Pretty scary.

But what hit me was that I think that he actually did this experiment and found it to be true first hand and now he's stuck somewhere outside of the linear reality of time as we know it and it's up to us to help him get back.

I could be shooting completely into the dark with this one, but I have a feeling that this could be the clue we've been waiting for.

From more than one of us? This is getting pretty intense and I think I might know where this is headed. I think we're are going to have to build one of those personal time machines in the Recipe. And we may have to build more than one.

Been lurking here for awhile and decided to make an account. That fake vlad putin account someone mention, well he has a new tweet. "The Crimson Tide draws near to wash our foes away".

Does that mean anything? Does that mean hatshoe is going to announce something soon?

Well he discussed a threat, maybe that account is the 'right threat' as he mentioned. I think Hatshoe may have already decided what he's going to do and who he needs to do it. If it's someone from thid forum it's possible they may need to stop playing and become part of the game but I haven't heard from him for a couple days and I've sent 3 messages with no reply. We'll have to wait and see.

looks like recipe was scanned after twowithout, there's a crease on the top left corner of recipe also absent in twowithout

not sure if it makes a difference though

Well it's odd that it was scanned twice when a cropped image would have done. Maybe the bottom was literally cut before it was scanned again for some reason?

i'm not 100% convinced that what we're seeing isn't just an artifact of the scanning process. if you look closely at the majority of the pages you see scratches and dust in various parts of the images. for example in recipe itself, above the word mirror, there's something that could easily be the number "1"...or it could just be a scratch or piece of dust. "natural", for example, has a bunch of little squigglies and dots all over it.

not saying i'm right, and we should keep looking for numbers, i'm just saying it's possible that's a dead end.

I would certainly agree with the possibility but as always, an open mind is key. Personally, I'm waiting for more word from our elusive friend. And wasn't it that number 3 on favourite things?
