not sure about your tranbslation..

i can't work out how ye got silence[ing] from clementia

I found all of the following meanings of clementia:

Quote:
Mercy, clemency, compassion, indulgence, forbearance, gentleness, mildness, calm, quiet

Est, which comes after clementia, is used to indicate the past passive tense of a verb.

Quote:
The wine jar was carried home by the slave.
vinum ad villam a servo portatum est.

Using the possible meanings above, you can only make so many of those words into past passive tense. So coming up w/ words like calmed and quieted, I thought the word silenced was a good alternative.

Like I said originally, the series of terms used all have very vague meanings independently, so when placed together they must be used in some representational/metaphorical/poetic fashion.

Graaaggghsadfg, I'm getting so sick of these useless Twitter updates! The PM(s) of this had better start putting out some solid clues or something.

I'll be lurking the Hatshoe chat room (link) all night, drop by and say hello.

TheThirdUnseen has another tweet...

Quote:
@WatcherofCarl Quis custodiet ipsos custodes? It has not been decided yet, friend. We must shift gears though. We must pick one.

Cbangel and I did some research and found out Quis custodiet ipsos custodes literrally translates to "Who will guard the guards themselves?". Colloquial english terms stemming from that are "Who will guard the guards themselves?", "Who will guard the guardians?", etc. It seems to me that Third is telling watcher it is getting close to time to choose one of us to watch carl for him since he's had these absences. Or that it's time to reveal a clue... It's confusing. [/quote]

Just gonna bulk quote my theory:
Quote:
Zagaan: I was thinking...And I think I might have a good theory on my hands.
Zagaan: It seems so simplistic I think i'm shooting in the dark
Zagaan: But I believe Reds completely discredits SovietPremeir
Zagaan: What leads me to this conclusion
Zagaan: is the fact that in reds
Zagaan: it talks about how a soviet sub penetrated so deep in american waters
Zagaan: As in, it got so embedded in the game that people believe it is legitimate.
Zagaan: They found ONE body wearing a soviet uniform.
Zagaan: And one line in reds states "And why was the transmission sent in English?"
Zagaan: The last thing i believe discredits him
Zagaan: would be how the body washed up with no identification papers. As in, nothing to verify his legitimacy.

It seemed plausible to Cbangel and I decided to post it here to see what you guys thought. Note it is also 2am where I live and I might be shooting way too broadly or vaguely...

I got a new email from hatshoe
from me:
Quote:
on your twitter you have two interesting followers are they of importance and if so how can we contact them to see what they know? This maybe of importance when it comes to helping you atleast in knowing who to trust and who not to. Also the mosre code good plan on messing it up if I only knew what to do with it now. I've tried everything I can think of...maybe I'm missing something is this another code within code type thing?

WHO WATCHES THE WATCHERS?
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Quis_custodiet_ipsos_custodes

Besides being one of the most important questions ever asked (e.g., in Plato's The Republic ), that is the central theme and namesake of the The Watchmen.

I think he was giving us a much more common Latin phrase, as opposed to the previous one.

Zagan you pose an excellent theory. It was a little suspect to me that the Reds page showed up right in the middle of our discussion as to the validity of both twitter accounts. BUT just so it doesn't seem that I am changing directions at every innuendo. Watchman was mentioned in a early email by Hatshoe and could have been reverse engineered to fit by the The Third Unseen. So I find myself neutral as to who is who therefore I will proceed considering both but skeptically. Hatshoe uses the word them:

I would like to throw out the thing that bugs me most about the website, it is the source code on the home page. I mean why not just type it out in order? Why start entering at the bottom left column work your way half way up and then start on the right column. It feels to me to be the code within in the code mentioned. However I'm afraid I don't really know enough to know what I think it is but here a couple of things I've noticed. Maybe someone can explain that there is a reason for writing them this way.

    1. The newly discovered tsare/toart may be related.
    2. The "Welcome friends" meta could be a key. It contains all but three letters used as page titles.
    3. The three letters B S H are the only capitalized letters (and only once each) used out of 42 pages.
    4. The sequence of numbers may be the important part?

Thanks for "listening".

Perhaps a week until full restoration, Carl. Decisive action will occur then. You'll be as free as you can be.

I think there involved in this somehow not sure how yet.

lol, if only dude. Apart from that being against forum rules I think it would be silly for a PM to take part in their own game. I'm in this just as deep as everyone else.
