Whew, 26 pages in, and I'm almost as confused as when I first went to hatshoe.org. Anyway, I feel I'm sufficiently caught up at this point, and I would like to make note that "Quis custodiet ipsos custodes?" is a very popular Latin phrase. I first read of it in Dan Brown's novel Digital Fortress, and have heard it from at least two other sources. Also, taking into account Hatshoe's reticence to validate the two twitter accounts, I would speculate that as a PM, he suspects them of being possible gamejackers, though maybe he's unsure of whether or not they are merely players who are just pushing their bounds.

It makes me think of the tortoise and the hare. I don't think its relevant, but I figured I'd mention it in case it gives someone else an idea.

This ARG caught my interest at the beginning because of the mysterious webpage and how it was set up but now its just getting lame. Random Latin(I hate when people talk in Latin to act mysterious, its overused) tweets sent back and forth, potential game jackers and now its all leading to no where.

I think the author of this ARG is lost and doesnt know where to go from here. Amateurs. He does know how to set up a nice webpage though.

Honestly I think it's only because we haven't found something that's supposed to be tied to the story...there aren't enough people in my opinion. We aren't coordinated. We need to coordinate a time to meet up and just brainstorm.

We are the players. If we don't play the game, how can we sit back and expect it to progress?

I'm thinking we need to think of this as a multiplayer game. We are acting sort of individual in our plight of understanding his site. We have to all set a TIME that is good for everyone to meet up and discuss the game. A boom in our players would also be very helpful. Some of the original players have quieted down. And the latin doesn't seem all too random...It all relates to Watcher, but yes a tad bit too mysterious haha. Watcher is leaving for a week. We have been given a time to find something out. I think that's what that message means!(random thought). I don't see how either of them could be game jackers.. They aren't feeding us information. Third is the only one that has seemed to given a clue. Whether it's gamejacking or from the lips of the PM is the only question I have. We need to find out.

I can tell you that the reason I've quieted down is that this 'game' (if it is one) has not given a tangible clue for a while now. In fact, as far as I'm concerbed we've had one really tangible clue. Aside from that, we've had a lot of players join in and there's about 3 pages of trout on this topic. It's all gotten very confusing and mixed up and I have lost contact with Hatshoe, which is odd considering I was in the most frequent contact with him.

Personally, I think we're saturated with too many theories and not enough clues to go on. If the PM wants us to play, he has to give us something to play, it's no good him steamrolling on the way he has been and leaving us, the players behind in the dust. That's not how a game works and that's how I think we've been made to feel, at least I have.

I don't really know what I'm trying to say but if the PM is reading any of this, give us something and we'll give something back.

I'm gonna continue to lurk and contribute when I feel it's necessary, but for the most part I think this 'game' is broken and has broken up the team spirit a little. Good luck everyone, I'm sorry I couldn't be of more value. I hope Hatshoe shows his hand soon for the sake of us all.
