So in the realm of speculation:

Empty shell casing + lots of blood in the sink = someone got shot? Someone shot themselves?

No body = someone moved the body?

Also, I think it's fair to say that the visual tearing (which in the past has been a reasonable indicator of SM's presence) means SM was nearby at the time of Entry 16's filming.

This is what I think..

The house was a hiding place for Brian/Alex or the both of them...the bullet casing suggests that someone was shot. I think that the person tried to shoot slenderman, in his own defense, and then he was either injured or got injured. He then runs to the bathroom, dropping blood, and falls/dies in the tub. SM then disposes of the body? Not sure. Maybe the person bled so much, they went to the tub to prevent like a flood in the other rooms.

He came across a room with a locked door? Maybe someone is hiding in there. I never noticed J having some kind of sickness before......the way I think of it is it's kind of like that banana phone video where the person touched the guy and then he too started to hear it. J comes into contact with the house, where SM was or whatever, and now he'll see him in the future...he got the same "sickness" Alex and Brian got.

Please correct me if I'm wrong, I don't want to think this is true and then miss something.

Lets think of a sickness in a logical sense. When your body gets attacked by a cold, the virus goes in and starts taking over cells, so it can reproduce more viri. Then come the white blood cells. They go and shoot a poison that kills the infected cells. In the process however, it also kills some of the good cells with it.

Other cells (Forget what they're called) come in and start to eat the dead cells. As they eat it, they send out a signal that goes into your blood stream and acts as a smoke signal for more white blood cells. That signal also makes your nerves feel more sensitive, giving your body aching pains, also signaling that you need rest.

Then a third type of cell comes in, and collects parts of the dead virus. They take it to your lymph nodes and offer the dead parts to your T and B cells. Out of 1000's of them, only one of each will accept it, and then go and fight the virus. One reproduces and targets the infected cells, and the other produces anti-bodies, which go and latch onto the virus that floats around, neutralizing them.



Could it be that Slender Man is infecting him with some kind of "virus", and his body is trying to fight it off? (Your body creates most of your symptoms when you are sick.)

The way the blood is splattered into the sink looks like it must have been put there with a fair amount of force, a cough due to the slender man sickness maybe? Perhaps whoever left it there started coughing up blood (maybe the sickness causes internal bleeding?) and ran to the bathroom with blood dripping from their mouth (explains the blood trail to the sink) and then tried to spit or cough it out, resulting in the large splatter in the sink.

Just an idea.

Woah, hang on, do we actually know that this is Alex's house? For one thing, if it was, why didn't J notice? For another, it's been pointed out that the house has a few differences from the appearance of Alex's house. Read the Trailhead, please.
