I feel lost. Why is that godawful rap song slendy's theme music? I know a couple other people put the track on videos of him, but why did it start?

GOD I love this! Ever since that video came out it helped me brave the next appearance of Slendy. All I have to do is start saying 'Gimmie twenty dollah' over and over in my mind and he becomes less menacing and more lovable.

...I think you guys ruined Slender Man for me. Normally, if I wake up in the early morning and go walking in the dark, I imagine seeing him outside the window just like in Marble Hornets, standing really still with an eerie silence all around.

Today I woke up and could NOT think about him without that song playing in my head.

I admit the videos are hilarious, and people's reactions are pretty awesome too, but I really hope I won't associate Slendy with terrible rap music for the rest of my life.

Thanks you guys, thanks a lot. X.X

Well, I've seen all that... I'm asking where that stuff originated from. I don't understand what relevance slenderman has to terrible rap music, or twenty dollar bills, in the first place, that's supposed to make any of that funny.

Maybe I'm just too much of an old geezer (at 23) to understand this newfangled rap music you kids have nowadays, but I seriously don't get any of this.

I think it was mostly just somebody who thought that Slendy peering in the windows reminded them of some guy trying to get Alex to give him money.

If I remember correctly, a while back people were talking about how Slendy was Alex's uncle, and Alex just owed him money. It was something along those lines. And then people just started making videos with that song.

And now you've gone and made me feel old, too. Good job.

Heh, sorry. If it's any consolation, I'm really just old at heart. I have a cane and tell kids to get off my lawn while spraying a hose on them, and everything...

Anyway, that makes a little more sense now. I was just totally baffled as to why Slendy was suddenly associated with that song. personally, I find this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=msB4tbRsBPw interpretation of events more amusing.

I do like the idea of these videos being told from Slendy's perspective, with Alex being a bad roommate. That's pretty awesome.

Normally, I can't stand rap music, but having a short clip of that song overlaid on the videos does make me giggle. Only problem is, that's the thing that sticks in my head, and not, you know, the fact that Slendy's supposed to be a horrifyingly strange abomination. I'm pretty damn hard to scare in the first place, but I think that even the general creepiness of these videos has a strong enemy in that song.

Still. Fun shit.

Ohgod, you just reminded me of the time I portrayed a crotchety old woman in a play. I had to hobble about stage and brandish my cane. ...I was nine at the time.
