Except it's not saying that at all?? The last TTA entry was dropping the bullshit and saying ""Oi! 'tard! You missed me being right behind you!". This entry is half threat and half taunt and is made to be as omnious as possible..

Well I don't think he's saying that it'd suck if there was a big climatic ending. It's just so many of these things tend to end with "Well, I'm going to go meet certain doom at old mr morrisons haunted mansion now, I'll be sure to update when I get back!" and leaving the audience with massive blue balls at the lack of exposition. If J just goes off and gets killed by SM, we're still left with shitloads of questions (What the hell is the ark, what the hell is SM, what happened to alex and brian and amnesia and what??) and no one to answer them.

For the cryptic YT videos, here how I look at the progression: The first 4 were all cryptic and shit, carrying the water/audio theme. J obviously doesn't get it, so TTA busts out Exit. Holy crap, J's paying attention now. He tries Program/Advocate, still nothing. TTA then dumbs it down with Signal. Voila, another response from J.

As for the YT PM, TTA seems like he has trouble saying "Hi" like a normal person, so it's understandable. I wonder how much J has tried to contact TTA, but whatever. As for the whole private YT videos things... I think we're getting into semantics at this point. Obviously the whole point of MH is to entertain, and it certainly wouldn't be fun if we were going "OMG WHAT'S IN TOTHEARK'S RESPONSES" the whole time.

Honestly, this part of the argument is going to shortly head into retardation soon. I can smell it.

See, that's where you're wrong. TTA is... shy. He's childish and skittish (To totally jack Two2tep's idea). He wanted J to go to the house the first time, and wanted to film him (I honestly believe that this plays into the childish thing. TTA wants to be part of all the big boys filming [OK, maybe I totally made that up]). He inadvertently scared J off, but didn't mean to, and sincerely wants J to come back. If TTA was malevolent, I think he'd be a little... more cunning than posting another taunt to J to come back to the house, after J already said he was planning on heading back there. He wouldn't spook J so badly if he wanted to lure him back, into a trap.

Furthermore, people should remember that if J does get killed/kidnapped/swallowed by the Slender Man, the video needs to find an in-game means of going online, so methinks J will not be killed or otherwise removed from the story, but rather he will film the video, go nuts, and upload it as his final act.

I have a sneaking suspicion we have reached the climax of Marble Hornets--and to be honest, I kinda hope we have. I'd like at least a few answers.

 		Forgive me if this idea has been brought up, I havent read every single reply, but I think the previous TTA videos were sort of a test of courage. TTA wants to help J, but he needs to know whether J is brave enough. I'd speculate that if J has the balls to go back to the house, then he will have passed the test and TTA will help him.

But after a couple of videos pointing out that J's being watched, J's interest in doing binary clues himself hasn't been piqued at all, so his strategy is highly questionable since all the "Hey J, I'm stalking you!" videos in the world won't seem to get him to take the bait. Frankly, all of J's reactions to TTA so far have been muted and suspect (if someone was taking videos of me in an abandoned house my first reaction certainly wouldn't be anger that I'm being mocked). But he's probably as puzzled by the "Clues" given by TTA as everyone else is.

If the youtubes were meant solely for J, then the easy workaround is for J to recieve the videos and then upload them since he can't make heads or tails of them. As it stands, TTA comes off more as a sort of a figure who's trying to correct J and cast doubt on him to the audience (therewasmore) and also wants J to give him the ark, or at least tell him what it's location is.

See, being malevolent and toying with J/being restrained for some reason I can understand. But childish and skittish requires TTA to want to communicate with J, so he can be "part of the big boys filming" (whatever that means) but is misunderstood because he can't interact in a way that isn't terrifying as possible.

I mean if you want someone to come back because you inadvertently scared them off, surely you could find a better way of doing it then

Hmmm. I think when J returns, he's going to break into that locked room. Let's just say, I doubt he'll be alone.

Someone may have locked themselves in there (Alex? Brian? TTA?)

(also, wouldn't it be creepy if he went back, and the locked door was ajar?

Also, I'm gonna speculate that that locked door was Alex's room. Hmmmm. And ajar door? Entry 14?)

That last part is REALLY unlikely to have any significance, but whatever.

 		Nobody's mentioned this so far, but the last frame of Signal says "find me."

This might imply that totheark considers this a bit of a game, and contrary to what some players have suggested, does not intend to lure J into some trap which may harm J. He's had at least two opportunities already if he did want to harm J (when J was alone in Exit and in the house in Entry #16), spanning at least three years.

The video says, "I'm going to show you something cold." Keeping in mind that this is a reply to Entry #17, this is probably a response to J being the only cold one in the house, when Alex and Tim were not.

As for totheark being Slenderman, the two cryptic sigure's MO's do not match. If totheare were Slenderman, he would unambiguously stalk J in the real world, rather than subtly using videos on YouTube to do so.

 		Perhaps we can match up the words from the speech to things that already happen in Marble Hornets. The lines we CAN'T match up may be things yet-to-come. All I can think of is the distortion that occurs during the scene were J is snooping around that small bed mat under the stair case.

"Close the Windows, so that none will ever again be able to enter."
Perhaps a reference to all the windows Slender Man peers through. This seems more like an invitation to a safe zone than something malevolent. Like TTA wants to help J, and it's time for them to meet.


ALSO: I believe it says come back.
