Perhaps not literal windows, rather windows that were opened by the filming of MH that let SM enter back to this plane of existence. Reveal what they are and have J close them.

Agreed.

Also, there are some parts of the audio in Signal that haven't been analysed yet, but they pique my interest. There's the point where the audio phases in from the distortion, and says something akin to "Right out of space," and then continues to say, "Banish them who refuse to speak."

Perhaps implying that SM is, quite literally, an alien entity? And who might refuse to speak? I keep thinking it means either Tim, who was being rather evasive about the whole ordeal, or maybe SM, who doesn't have a mouth in which to speak.

This has to be the greatest TTA video yet.

 		does anyone find it weird that the guy whose head is distored in this video is smoking like tim! also the vocals on that part are "go upstairs to your room I will be waiting"

 		All of the dialogue, from what I think it says

"Just wait till we're alone together and I will tell you something...."
"Something cold......Something sleepy.......Something obscene"
(some reference to long feets and the curl of space which i cant make out)
"Banish them, refuse to speak. Leave them, go upstairs to your room....I will be waiting for you."
"I will surround you and close the windows, and then none again will ever be able to enter"


this is most of the dialogue of which the voice speaks, the only part i wasn't able to make out was the middle part where it sounded muffled.

 		is it just me or does that whole thing sound like what alex did he got rid of all his tapes (banish them) then moved and cut all lines from his friends (refuse to speak) also in one of the entries in alex's house slenderman put a drift against the door you can see as you see his shadow and the pictures move and on one he surrounded alex in his room also alex's room was upstairs and the room upstairs of that house was locked so no one could enter

So what your saying is alex will join them in isolation by discarding his videos for others to find? or so that no one will be harmed by slenderman.

Nonononon. There's 2 versions.

The first was a 1966 short film (the best one and the one the audio and video from Signal is from).

Though Night Gallery DID do a version of Silent Snow, Secret Snow, it has nothing to do with this video.

Regardless, the important thing is that the videos linked on the first page are the source of the video/audio from the totheark response. Plus, the Night Gallery and the 1966 versions are both based on Conrad Aiken's short story from 1934, so they're not completely unrelated.

The themes of this story seem relevant to our interests. Though its creepiness helps make totheark's response effective, "Silent Snow, Secret Snow" was probably chosen because he/she believes the plot/message foreshadows what J will learn by confronting him. My theory is that totheark was driven insane by the truth that he/she now carries, and will give it to J if he feels he is ready. Considering how eager J was to take Alex's tapes, I doubt he will be hesitant to hear what totheark has to say.

I actually think this might have some relevance... It's been suggested that the guy with the distorted head is supposed to be SM, but the head-distortion, as well as the smoking, corresponds with Tim.
Surprised it was overlooked.
