You are alone in your decrepit house, anxiously awaiting SM to collect your offering (no less than an effigy of SM). You hear banging at the front door, and hoping its SM, you hide as to not scare him off. You hear him come in the back, you hide, you hear him go to your doll, you come out and sit in anticipation, then when it turns you hear J say "Alex" then you attack in rage and the stress drives you to have a seizure.

So SM stalks around Alex's house in the middle of the night. J is now stalking around someone else's house in the middle of the night. Coincidence?

While I don't think the doll was placed with too much purpose. He could have thrown and had it land in the way it did. I do like the idea of it being some kind of Slender Man totem/offering/bait/etc.

The problem I see is that EFG didn't charge at J until he took a few steps towards him and away from the doll. If he was trying to get J away from the doll I'd imagine him charging as soon as he seen him touching it, not wait for him to lock eyes and move towards him.

Now if it is a "bait" of some sort it would be interesting if the reason EFG charged was because it had worked. The door was closed and locked but the room to J's right was wide open and pitch black. Seeing as how J was kind of dazed from hitting his head, and the fact his memory is faulty in some capacity (not necessarily during the time of filming mind you) perhaps his description isn't as clear as it seems.

Again I think TTA's next entry will shed some major light, if it's not too busy being cryptic.

I just hope TTA posts it soon. The anticipation is killing me.

I've heard of "retard strength," but never "I'm under mind control" strength. And honestly... TTA looked a bit on the "unfit" side, if that was indeed him. J's a bit scrawnier, looks like he could take Brian or Alex on his own. Especially with a knife.

I smell foul play. Even fouler than it already was.

The important words there are "surprisingly hard"; J flew across the room thanks to Masky. I really thought J was pulled from Masky by someone else, but I believe J on this. Getting dragged away feels very different from getting shoved in the chest, and J would be able to tell the difference.

Not sure if this was mentioned yet, but J broke into an Entry 16-worthy coughing fit after he was pushed by Masky. If totheark is causing illness in J, then he could have induced this coughing fit.

I don't get totheark's motive in all this...not yet anyway. He invites J back in Signal, yet fights him in a costume the moment he steps foot into that house. What was all that "I will tell you something new..." stuff about then?

That kind of reinforces my theory that something more supernatural was involved. Slender Man's disciples: Altered for Combat

Agreed.

I have to say I think there is more to this doll. I think that a doll modeled after SM with the only thing wrong being it has eyes. I can't get over the fact that it is very significant, otherwise I feel like he would have gotten attacked sooner. All we can do right now is wait and see if TTA obtained the doll or makes reference to it. **Crosses fingers**

Out of Game, It's more likely they just found the closest doll they could to fit Slenderman outside of a Buffy the Vampire Slayer badguy action figure

And/or are lurking here and seen the posts about a SM plushie and thought it'd be a neat object to throw into the mix.

I don't think we've seen SM with eyes in MH yet - his face has been decidedly blank. If it is a SM voodoo doll, maybe the eyes were sewn on as part of the voodoo curse? Like, the curse was to place eyes on him that we can see. Either way, it's interesting that the doll did not have a mouth, but had eyes...

Hm. If I may play the devil's advocate for a moment....

Wait, J. So You post to clarify things, and then You're guessing? Well, so do You know, now, or don't You? Did that make You stumble, or did something, or someone, else?

----

As for the other thing, I actually missed it the first two times, but when I cracked up the volume while listening for distortions (particularly around the doll pickup area), I heard the "boo" mentioned by people on this forum already. Not only was all this deliberately and carefully staged; EFG actually grabs J's attention in what has to be the most cheesy AND creepy way at the same time.

When it comes to the doll, I think this is the best idea to it's origin. They bought it, thought it'd be a neat detail in the ARG, and then put it in. I doubt they made it.
Although I'd like to know where to get a doll like that.

This is probably inane to point out, because I don't think anyone will read/care, but on the whole "supernatural strong thing pulling J away" theory...

It's really NOT that hard to pull someone back that far, no matter how strong you are. If someone, even J's size, is wearing lose clothing, and in a panicky mind-state, all it would take to throw their center of gravity off is one quick YANK.

I'm a smaller sized girl, but I'm confident anyone who's done any light study or reading on fighting, or just has a basic grasp on balance and movement, could pull him down and drag him back. Especially on a hardwood floor.

I hate to be Debby Downer, but you can buy those basic plushy dolls at chaim arts and crafts stores. Confused I see them at Michael's a lot in the doll section

The dolls usually do NOT have eyes though. Those are standard clothing pins used for sewing pushed into it's head. Put there for a reason.
