Did anyone determine if Alex meant anything when she said that the numbers in her presentation (on the rossum corporation site) seemed to be "messing with the numbers"?

I tried to follow the numbers in the presentation, but it didn't seem to lead me anywhere.

thanks,

Rob

Yeah. Remember when she said that there was an issue with the numbers around the 7-second mark? If you pause the video right at 7 seconds, the numbers "962" appear. That was the password for Koji Takahashi's Rossum Intranet account. But that's since been changed (for at least a week now).

Just a lurker, really. It appears Alex has been fired from her job at Rossum. They confirmed that they knew about both her twitter and her blog.

Alex worked for a PR company, not directly for Rossum. Theoretically, this could open the door for a Rossum job offer...

According to Alex, as told to her by Robert, Sara is being tailed by a black van.

That doesn't sound good.

Received this just before 3PM EST:

Quote:

Mary,
Apologies for not replying to your questions from yesterday. This morning, I was followed by a black van, which consequently attempted to run me off the road. I managed to escape the near-accident and returned to the hotel with the van still at my back. I then left through the kitchen access at the the hotel restaurant with just my computer and documentation. Currently using an internet cafe's network to do some research and get in touch with Bobby. We're fearing the worst in regard to Tom. Bobby is adamant that I should return to NY, but flying undetected will be a challenge. I also hate giving up.
Will continue to be in touch as best as I can. Have to find new accomodations first.
Sara

A gamble...

Has anyone thought about contacting Rossum and playing the turncoat as a way of possibly getting information from them? I would not give them any information that they could use, but just by offering them information (for payment, of course) we could gain some sort of knowledge as to what they already know, or what they plan to do.

I gained this info from EtceteraElla via Twitter but I haven't been active for a while and am not sure what to do with it. She said that "someone needs to tell AD and Booby what's going on".
Hopefully some of you can help.

I've looked through the pages here and want to know if anyone has been able to get into the Rossum intranet for either the Tuscon, LA or DC houses yet. I've been tinkering with the Ambrose name. The VP of Rossum must surely have an account.

Earlier I sent Sara Kingsley a screen shot of the second memo from the Tuscon pages on WTF:

Quote:
Hello Sara,

It sounds like the Tucson site has been destroyed, but important information may still be there. I've attached something that may help you find it.

Be careful. We fear the casualties are piling up.

She just replied to me:

Quote:
Thank you, Ilion. Mary has updated me as well. Please confer with her in regard to my lengthier response.

I shall remain here and attempt to uncover whatever I can.

Sara

Back to the drawing board...

I e-mailed Sara the details of the turncoat plan, and just received the following response:

Attempting to outsmart the Rossum Corporation in the manner you suggest will be unproductive at best and deadly at worst. I'm certain they already have all the inside agents they need and if they were to show any interest, it would only be to lure you into a trap. At this point, I believe it is safest for you to remain off their radar for as long as possible. While I appreciate your courage and initiative, I must urge you to exercise caution even when discussing matters with other Twitterites. I believe anyone who gets too close to the truth will literally be erased.
Sara

Looks like the plan is a no go. I'm starting to wonder about the recent emphasis on the dangers of using Twitter.

Email from Sara:

Quote:

Mary,
Thank you for your time and assistance in these troubling times.
I took a look at the site with the login and password you provided. The list of targets is chilling and the fact that Tom has been crossed out, while not surprising, has very much affected me.
The second memo countains an image of the debris I saw and mentioned before. This confirms my suspicion that the Technical Insititute either was at this spot or is currently located underneath it. It also strengthens my resolve to stay and find whatever there is to uncover.
I checked Alex' tweets and am relieved that she and the Hunter family were departing for safer quarters. I have sent out a message to our colleague Paul and asked for his assitance. Unfortunately, he is currently in Nepal, so it may be days, weeks, or even longer before he has access to technology. In some ways, I suppose this is for the better.
I do not know the other names on the list, however William(?) Morley brings up a faint recollection. I will meditate and try to gather more details. I am currently at a motel, which provides greater anonymity. Computer access is tenuous at best, but I will attempt to set up an account on Spectrin for you and the others tomorrow. Please be aware, however, that any one of Twitterites may be conveying information to Rossum. It would be foolish of the corporation not to gather intelligence in this manner, and I think we can agree that they are anything but fools.
Once more, I appreciate your efforts.
Sara

Emphasis (bold italic) mine. I think the Spectrin account is going to be more important than ever.[/i]

Some names transcribed from Rossum Corporation memos posted above:

  • Michael Horst, Group Leader SW, Resource Management Division
  • Richard Donovan, Vice President, Resource Management Division
  • John Abrams, Group Leader NE, Resource Management Division
  • Dayna Gruber, Group Leader SE, Resource Management Division
  • Clive Ambrose, Vice President, Rossum Corporation

Any or all seem like they could lead to potential usernames. Michael Horst and Richard Donovan appear to be most interesting re: Tuscon facility.
