maybe a hint

New to the forum,
http://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/J%C3%B3n_Sigur%C3%B0sson
I found this on wiki after looking for the events that occured in 1811 (first case on Spectrin) the guy was born the 17 june 1811 (and the file is named case n° 17A14 on the spectrin site) I don't know if this have anything to do with our little riddle but the guy has something to do with Iceland so maybe it's worth looking into! (sorry, the link is in french cause I'm french and I read better in my native language but i guess you can translate it somewhere)

'Sara at spectrin' is an anagram of 'A panic restarts.'

Not sure if that means anything, but.

Lmao, I think you have a good idea there, Alder.

They sum it up better than I could.
From a comment on Whedonesque:

Still thinking about and frustrated over what we may or may not be seeing. According to my friend Wikipedia, a "heiti is a synonym used in Old Norse poetry in place of the normal word for something. For instance, Old Norse poets might use jór "steed" instead of the prosaic hestr "horse"."

Also, heiti is an Icelandic word which roughly translates to "named" or "called" (but sans past tense) Eg heiti Carnelionne would translate to I am named/called Carnelionne.

Now, if translating heiti to name or call, you could get
"Name is key" or "Call is key"...

I know, I'm reaching.

Heiti = a substitute word
nom de plume = a substitute name

Heiti is key = substitution is key
Therefore, heiti was to lead us to Sara's page at Spectrin in which it says she writes under a nom de plume.

I'm new here so first off, Hello. And I agree with Janie. I think Heiti means the Dolls. Because Dolls are basically substituted personalities. The Arkanes branch might be where they develop or test out the new tech. I could be wrong I just wanted to throw in my two cents and say Hi. Oh and also the stave symbol tattooed on Andrea's brothers neck can also mean Protection in battle.

Sara Kingsley's biopic mentions her work on "synthetic thought" in relation to Teilhard's POM (phenomenon of man.) There's only one page that has both "synthesis" and "thought" in it:

Thus from the grains of thought forming the veritable and indestructable atoms of its stuff, the Universe -- a well-defined universe in the outcome -- goes on building itself above our heads in the inverse direction of matter which vanishes. The Universe is a collector and conservator, not of mechanical energy, as we supposed, but of persons. All round us, one by one, like a continual exhalation, 'souls' break away, carrying upwards their incommunicable load of consciousness.

One by one, yet not in isolation. Since, for each of them, by the very nature of Omega, there can be only be one possible point of definite emersion -- that point at which, near the synthesising action of personalising union, the noosphere (furling its elements upon themselves as it too furls upon itself) will reach collectively its point of convergence -- at the 'end of the world.'
